I love their relationship, and banter, and their protectiveness of each other and their large family. The plot had some twists, and isn’t a typical Christmas story though it does have a HEA.
I loved the world building, and how their family is made up of so many different people who all bring their strengths to the story, and solving the case. I liked that it wasn’t a straightforward one, and in fact turns out to be quite dangerous for Seb and and Ailin who have been solving crimes like this for decades.
I love how different their personalities are, and yet how well they fit together. Their Solstice celebration is a sweet, full-on, family affair. I hope this is the beginning of a new series....more

I thought this was a feel-good low angst sweet romance that I didn’t want to put down.
I love this author’s cozy cowboy books, and the set up with Cowboy Wanted, which includes a glimpse of Tom and Kody who run it. I like how each advert for a cowboy is for something different, and I loved that Austin is an author, with all the quirks that go with that. I particularly liked that Austin and Kyler talk things through, rather than lack of communication driving the plot.
The kids are realistic. I loved their friendship, and how different they are, and how Austin and Kyler are kind of co-parenting by comparing notes and helping each other out.
I loved that Paige’s mother is a great character, and the reason Paige is mostly living with Kyler a valid one. I loved how Henley is totally on board with Austin and Kyler’s relationship. She’s fun. ...more

I also enjoyed catching up with Wes’s brothers and Mason from book 1 again.
I like how different the Stormbreaker brothers are. Wes and Shane are well matched as opposites who see through the barriers each other have erected. Shane’s reasoning for distrusting cowboys is understandable, considering his past. I liked how that came out slowly, and when he’s finally able to trust Wes enough to share. I thought their romance was sweet, with both determined not to fall for the other and thinking any relationship will be short lived until the end of Wes’s assignment.
I loved the scenes on the ranch, and the horses.
I liked how the stalker threat escalated, and how I thought I’d guessed who it was, and then doubted myself because of all the red herrings. Nicely done! The scene where they confront the stalker is tense, and I was turning pages.
Wes and Shane’s HEA is sweet and well deserved. I need Levi’s HEA now, and Nick and Kieran need to get their HEA too. ...more

Scott and Hank’s story drew me in immediately and I wanted them to get together and have their HEA.
I love that Scott stress quilts. He’s such a great dad, and I loved Fallon too. I liked how different he and Hank are, and yet underneath they’re both struggling with similar things they need each other to point out. I thought Scott and Hank were sweet together with their non dates, and both not wanting another relationship.
I liked that this story was very much about family, especially siblings. I loved how that side of the story worked out all round.
I loved seeing characters from other books in the series, which is one of my favourite things about shared worlds.
I thought this was a wonderful feel-good Christmas romance, and enjoyed the peek into their future and HEA. ...more

I loved their romance, and the part that Brann’s family, and the quirky townspeople play. Fred and Wilma, the geese, are a fun addition to the story.
I liked how Brann isn’t as grumpy as he thinks he is, and has a sweet nature in how he looks after his geese, and offers Kenan a room. I loved how he has no idea who Kenan is, and that something that could have been blown into something bad is settled with honest conversation. Kenan is a sweetheart and calming influence. I liked the reason behind his addiction. His manager has a lot to answer for!
I loved Brann’s family. His sister, especially, is a force to be reckoned with. I loved Mr Blum and how he connects with Kenan and Brann.

Their situation is realistic, and I liked the effort it took both of them to make their marriage work, especially with the business and stressfulness of life around them.
I liked how they reconnected because of the storm, but didn’t lose sight that being alone for two days is nothing like dealing with the situations that led to their almost divorce in the first place. They’re both good men trying to do the right thing for their family and build a future, but trying to balance that, the mounting bills, and each other, is going to need work. I also liked that, despite their determination to be there for each other, it’s easier said than done.
The slice of life family scenes are wonderful, but their kids feel real, and I liked that they were worried their dads might divorce again, and reacted like children to difficult situations with tantrums and yelling.
I loved how supportive both Kirin and Flynn’s parents are, and their working together to help out is heartwarming and sweet. ...more

Azrael and Duke are both sweet, and I enjoyed the mix of romance and suspense, alongside of family and friends.
I liked how Duke’s past relationship is slowly revealed, and makes a lot of sense why he’s hesitant to risk being hurt or hurting someone else. I loved how gentle Azrael is – unless you’re a bad guy, the depth of his faith, and how their love for each other wins out.
I loved the part friends and family play in the story. Azrael’s family are a force to be reckoned with, and their matter-of-fact this is what family do is heart-warming. I loved Duke’s relationship with his sister, Penny, and his friendship with Hwan. It was great to see characters from previous books again. Autumn still rocks. I love her.
I loved the suspense part of the story and how the Wyatt’s men all work together. I wouldn’t want to get on their wrong side.

Jordan and Nick’s story is a feel-good friends-to-lovers romance, in which family and friends play a part. This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I’m now wondering why I didn’t read any sooner!
I enjoyed how different they are with Jordan convinced that no one takes him seriously. I loved the scene where he steps in with Nick’s ex. It’s very him. I liked how it takes him a while to figure out how he feels, and his sexuality. I loved that he and Nick have been best friends forever and how that friendship deepens with their growing relationship.
I loved all the connections within the town with Jordan’s gramps owning the bookstore, and how everyone else wanders through the story, or already has a connection with Jordan and Nick.
Another wonderful visit to Collier’s Creek at Christmas. ...more

This is a wonderful feel-good Christmas reaI love Collier’s Creek, and I enjoyed Sully and Hayes’s story and catching up with familiar faces in town. This is a wonderful feel-good Christmas read, with a focus on family. I love reading about the tree lighting from definitely perspectives with a repeated incident tying them all together.
I loved Sully and Hayes’s instant attraction, which soon becomes complicated by other relationships and work. Hayes’s sweet tooth was a fun reoccurring theme. I liked how the book title reflects that, but not in the way you’d expect. I loved how Hayes finds out who Sully is – it’s a fun scene.
I loved the family dynamics, and also the camaraderie at the fire station, including all the teasing, but totally working as a team and having each other’s backs.
The epilogue rounded off their story well, and tied up a few loose ends regarding family members.
I loved this sweet second chance story. I liked both men, and how they slowly get to know each other, figure out the past, and move forward together. I loved this sweet second chance story. I liked both men, and how they slowly get to know each other, figure out the past, and move forward together.
Although most of Cam and Jake’s story have only them and Cora, the baby, it never dragged, and I quickly found myself invested in their HEA. I liked the way their pasts slowly unfolded along with both sides of what had happened between them years ago. I liked the realism of parenthood with its demands and self-doubts, and how quickly Cam bonds with Cora too.
I liked the part the setting plays, with the isolation and snow bringing them together and giving no room for avoiding their feelings. The descriptions made the cabin and its surroundings easy to imagine. I loved the animal characters too.
Their HEA is sweet, and the perfect ending for an enjoyable read. ...more

I loved the characters, and how they finally work out their feelings for each other. The supporting cast add a layer of enjoyment, and Hank Marvin the parrot has the perfect line for every situation!
I loved the friendships between all the characters, and the banter was great. Joan is wonderful. I loved how she clearly showed her disapproval of Tim in little but obvious ways to everyone but him, and does her part in finally getting Frankie and Con together.
I also liked the fun ongoing gardening issues with the local village gossip. However, the more I heard about Frankie’s late husband, the less I liked him. I liked how that part of the story slowly unfolded with comments and anecdotes. The less said about Tim, the better.
The added epilogue is a wonderful HEA, and well worth the read. It rounds the story out nicely, although I need to read Max’s story now. ...more

Cove and Florian’s story is a wonderful mix of romance and drama. I enjoyed seeing Kit again too.
I love the worldbuilding with its mix of fantasy and technology, especially with people bonding with stones that give them abilities, yet have a personality of their own. I liked how this story gave the flip side of those relationships when a stone is bound to someone obnoxious and evil.
I liked how Cove enters the Dawnchaser lands expecting one thing, and finding Florian instead. Their relationship is sweet, and I love how Florian comes into his own. Most of the Dawnchasers are a selfish entitled lot, and it says a lot that Florian and his sister haven’t succumbed to the norm.
I loved Frost, and hope to see more of him. Fawn is sweet, and definitely way more than she’s been given credit for.
The drama and action scenes are tense, especially the final encounter with a thoroughly despicable man. I liked the closure with this part of the story, alongside the beginning of the next. ...more

One of the highlightI love Collier’s Creek, and I’m a huge fan of this author’s books, so was very happy to be able to another by her in this series. One of the highlights of the story is the family vibe of the friendships and how everyone rallies around to help Greg and Cam’s dream become a reality. I also loved seeing Geraldine and Barkasaurus Rex again – a visit to Collier’s Creek wouldn’t be complete without them.
Small town settings are a favourite genre, and I wish this one was real. Collier’s Creek has a lovely cozy vibe about it, and even more so at Christmas. I love its community and how characters wander in and out of other people’s stories, which helps with its sense of reality. I chuckled at the cheeky reference to another favourite small town series – nicely done.
Greg and Cam’s story is heartfelt, and real. I loved that despite all the stress and disappointment, their love for each other never falters, and is never in doubt.
The peek into their future makes for a satisfying conclusion to this feel-good story. ...more

I loved the riding hood/bad wolf imagery which was very cleverly done. Davy definitely runs into all aspects of the bad wolf with some very questionable dates!
I loved how he’s able to see beneath Hugo’s grouchy exterior, and another sweeter side. Hugo’s jealously and definitely not checking up on Davy and his dates is fun. I love his relationship with his brother, Max, and Davy and Caitlin’s friendship.
I thought this was a lovely read with endearing characters, and a sweet HEA.
I loved Tam and Bhodi’s story and although it reads as a standalone, I loved the connections to Rebel Kings and other books. I was invested in their HI loved Tam and Bhodi’s story and although it reads as a standalone, I loved the connections to Rebel Kings and other books. I was invested in their HEA from the beginning, and loved how they got to know each other, and how fast their determination to remain friends dissolved, although they needed to admit that to each other too.
Bhodi is such a sweetheart, and a wonderful nurse. He’s passionate and it’s obvious how much he cares for others. I liked how he slowly lets his broken heart mend, yet needs convincing that there is someone for him. I loved Tam, and how he’s made a life after his accident and everything that came with that. Also love the description of his calligraphy, and how he helps Bhodi with his chicken scratch. Their scenes together are sweet, and also hot and sensual.
Sab, Tam’s brother is wonderful. I loved the start of his story, and I’m very happy that he’s getting his own book. I loved his and Tam’s sibling relationship, and how they switch between English and French.
Rudy of course, is a total scene stealer and loves Bhodi from the start.
I found this story a very satisfying read, and I didn’t want to put it down. Loved their HEA. ...more

The first story in this new fun series has plenty of my favourite things – small town, mystery, more than a touch of paranormal, an author or two, and a cat.
I loved Maz immediately. He’s overdue life going his way, especially after his nasty ex. I love that his and Ricky’s relationship is very slow burn. Maz seems to settle into his new home and situation first. Ricky’s definitely one of the good guys. He’s there to help immediately. I love how he’s related to everyone, and his relationship with his Tia Sophia is sweet.
Ghost is populated with wonderful townspeople. I loved Taryn, and wouldn’t want to come up against her. Her dads are awesome, as are the siblings who run the bakery.
I hope Avi finds some closure by the end of the series – poor guy.
And Gilgamesh AKA Gig is a typical kitty scene stealer. I love how he’s already purred his way into Tia Sophia’s heart.
I liked that not everyone is a good guy, and loved the final showdown as all the clues fall into place. I’m already looking forward to the next in the series. ...more

I enjoyed the world building/setting of Bhas and Anu’s story and how it kept me guessing as to what was really going on and who could be trusted.
I liked Bhas’s enthusiasm for astronomy and his connection to the gods through his luck. He’s a little too trusting at times but proves himself more than capable when he needs to be. Anu is much more of a mysterious figure, and I didn’t guess who he really was until the reveal. I was very happy when they finally got their HEA.
The love spell didn’t feel like it was a part of the story, although I did enjoy the mystery of the artefact, and how it unfolds. The reveal of its purpose is tense and exciting. I love how Bhas comes into his own in that.
I enjoyed seeing the library. The descriptions of the city make it easy to imagine. I also enjoyed the lovely descriptive language though I must admit one very modern anachronism did throw me out of the story for a moment.

I love the close bond between those in the team, and the friendships and more. I especially enjoyed the focus on family in this story with Tanner’s brother, and Keyshaun’s siblings and mother.
I loved Tanner’s love of all things Austen and that his dogs are all rescues. I enjoyed his and Tanner’s mutual attraction, and how everyone else can see it. Their romance is sweet. I loved how Keyshaun goes from someone who doesn’t watch hockey to an avid supporter. I liked his passion for the gym he runs with his siblings, and how Tanner’s dogs love him instantly.
Keyshaun’s mother is wonderful, and can’t help herself when it comes to matchmaking. I loved his relationship with his sister and brother, and his new role as uncle. Tanner’s brother Rudy is fun and has a lot of great lines. I liked how different he and Tanner are.

I loved how Jayden gets past Rick’s walls to the real man behind them, and how Rick starts to come out of himself. Their connection, despite Rick’s determination not to all for his elf, friendship and more is sweet. I loved how the story tone shifts when Rick’s past catches up with him, and how all that is resolved.
Rick’s parents are wonderful, and I loved the small town Christmas vibe, and his plans to give back to the town.
I liked that this world is populated by a mix of good people, those not so great, like Rick’s neighbour, Simeon, and the really awful like Derek, who totally deserves everything karma can throw at him.
