Laramine Briscoe does a great job bringing an emotionally broken character back to the living. Both main characters were well written and likeable. I feel like this book could have gone wrong with miscues and unnecessary misunderstandings but they handled issues like adults.
Nash had found love once but unfortunately the life as he knew it was torn apart. He has his family, friends and his business to keep him occupied and moving forward dailey. His family shakes things up and offers him an escape for just one night. Nash faced the challenge head on and decided to let go of reality of the night.
Caroline has her own issues but knew she was done with corporate America. She needs to slow down and thinks small town living is for her. I love my friends but would definitely draw the line if they asked me to work for them especially if they worked as an escort. It’s a good thing that Caroline is such a sweetheart and willing to help her friend.
Nash and Caroline complemented each other and worked together perfectly. I liked that she challenged him. She was also willing to wait for him and made sure he comfortable in their relationship. I’m thankful the author didn’t fill this book angst and drama just for the sake of it.
I did have issues with the secondary a story-line. It may be a set up for a future book but I didn’t understand how her friend Taylor knew his brother and their relationship. This was a small town and I would have assumed that Taylor knew Nash and vice versa. Despite this minor hang up, I enjoyed the book and characters!

These North men kept me entertained. They were demanding with rough exteriors but once they met their second half, their personalities changed for the better. They were sweet and dare say loveable. Hayes North is no exception!
From reading the previous books in the series, I felt that Hayes was the most emotionally guarded. He built up his emotional walls years ago. He had a definite reason why and I wasn’t sure if he was ever going to let his guard down. Fortunately for us readers he didn’t have choice. Haven, his daughter, showed up and wasn’t leaving until she got to know her dad.
His daughter showing up also brought his teenage love, Vanessa, back. As a teen mom, Vanessa didn’t have it easy. She had to rely on herself but was able to build a stable but caring home life for their daughter. I struggled at times with her character but she did what she had to do in order to survive.
Normally, I’m not a fan of second chance romances but I think they needed the time apart to grow. While I enjoyed their story there was some unnecessary drama at the end of the book that I didn’t think this couple needed. They were able to solve their differences and ended up with a much deserved HEA.

The first book in the series, Hot Seat was enjoyable but had me wanting more. I was thrilled when I saw the second book Hot Wings was ready and waiting for me to one click.
I loved the premise of the book and the authors delivered. This writing duo knocked this out of the park. They brought strong men, humor and love in this hard to put down read.
We met Donny in book one and he didn’t charm me initially. He was a player when it came to dating but he stood by his brother Mike when he found love with Shane. When Donny is rescued by Dell Murphy he forms an immediate, intense emotional connection. Dell Murphy has been in the service and a pilot for years. He’s also known he was gay since he was 10. He has an immediate connection with Donny only to find out Donny isn’t gay.
This unlikely duo has chemistry off the charts! I truly loved watching Donny grow from a player to falling for one man. There were parts that were a bit difficult to read as they struggled to share their relationship but in the end these two men worked on building a future.

Serena Bell has done a great job weaving romance with real life scenarios. Wilder With You is no different and a great addition to the series. To be honest, I was hesitant to read this book as the main character, Clark is the quietest brother and he hasn’t gotten over the loss of his wife. When one of his late wife’s friends, Jessa, needs help he didn’t hesitate to step up and be her knight. I’m not going to lie, the story held some sadness but the pair drew on each others strengths. I loved watching them break down their walls and let the other person into their world. We have one more brother left and I can’t wait to see what the author has in store!

Cash is a surly ex-military hero who isn’t sure of his next move. His friend has a security company and asks Cash to watch over his child star step brother, Danny. Danny has been threatened recently but law enforcement doesn’t take him seriously. He’s also out and proud. Things heat up with Danny’s stalker and the two must go into seclusion.
The story is so much more as Cash never had that special someone in his life and realizes Danny could be it. The story between the two is sweet while they explore their possible relationship. Unfortunately, Cash fears that the age gap may be too much for this relationship to survive.
The author does a good job with the romance as well as the suspense. I found it hard to put down and excited that there is more to come.

I was looking for my next read when I happened to stumble on a new to me author and a group of cowboys. I enjoyed the first book in the series, Gabriel and happy that a second book was already released.
The second book, Kitt is about an injured bullrider , which I can never say no too! It does have a re-occurring theme and the stories intertwine so it best to read in order. Kitt was injured in the ring and knew he couldn’t continue on the circuit anymore. He gets an offer from his friends Gabriel and Gideon to heal and help start a LGBQ ranch. This is an offer he cant say no too. Fortunately for him the ranch also needed a cook and in walks in the man of his dreams, Brendan.
These two were in the previous book and couldn’t wait for their story. I loved watching these men move from friends to something more. They were perfectly suited for one other. There was minimal drama but any to keep the story moving. Brendan is dealing with overbearing but well meaning parents. Kitt is dealing with a new reality of a career change. He is afraid of this but jumps right into his relationship.
Some parts were a bit wordy (there was a lengthy trip to the gym that wasn’t necessarily needed) but I could overlook some of the fluff. We are also gifted a bonus chapter about these two.

While I enjoyed all the books, Flirting withThis writing duo always leaves me with a smile after reading their books and this series is no exception. While I enjoyed all the books, Flirting with Fate narrowly edges into m favorite book in the series.
Vivien always seemed liked the flighty sister but I love how she changed our persona of her in this book. She is generous, caring and puts others needs before herself. I loved her relationship with Nonna. The pair worked hard to bring joy to the town.
Glenn is a single dad who wants the best for his daughter. He is called to Hope Falls to train but he hasn’t given up on his career. He’s a family man but he’s put off looking for that someone special until Bree, his daughter is older. Bree and Glenn are an adorable father daughter duo. I love their relationship together. Fortunately for both of them , the Hope Effect is strong and these two are drawn together.
The road trip cements their relationship but they are still to leery to take a jump. They go back and forth for most of the book and I yelled at them more then once, but they finally realized they were meant to be.

I’ve been reading books by Ella Frank for years and her stories never disappoint. She’s able to weave sexy, smart men with drama and spice. Wicked HeaI’ve been reading books by Ella Frank for years and her stories never disappoint. She’s able to weave sexy, smart men with drama and spice. Wicked Heat is no different.
I loved both main characters, Ryan and Jameson. Ryan is a PA for a high profile news anchor. He’s well off and has wonderful friends and family. Jameson is from the wrong side of town. He’s built emotional walls to avoid friendship and intimacy. They are total opposites but they work so well together! I thought the author created the perfect amount of drama (and heat) between them. So much so I found it hard to put down.
It is the first in a duet and does end on a cliffhanger but for those who have read Bella’s books in the past, this leads to great anticipation!

Although it can be read as a standalone to get the full enjoyment of thWalk on the Wilder Side is the second in the Wilder Adventures by Serena Bell. Although it can be read as a standalone to get the full enjoyment of these Wilder men you’ll want to read in order as there is an over arching plot.
Brody is touted as a bad boy of the Wilder men. He keeps his emotions guarded and a bit wary. He doesn’t like the changes in the business but is willing to change doe the greater good. The more you read the more you’ll find him to be a real sweetheart. He’s caring, generous and thoughtful despite what has been tossed at him the past year.
In walks Rachel. They have both had a thing for the other and when she steps in to help her mom with her business the sparks fly. I loved the connection between this couple. The pair worked so well together. Parts of the story line were predictable but others especially, the relationship with Brody and Justin were smartly written and refreshing to read how caring adults would handle this situation.
Looking forward to reading more about the Wider Men !

The pair have a brief yet off the charts interaction in the first book Freefall. Their collision sets forth a series of events that make this story so memorable.
In the trilogy Violet is questioning her career path. She’s destined for more than her father’s assistant and covering his secrets. To me she’s full of color and energy! I love that you can’t contain her passion.
There’s only one word to describe Beck for me, Sexy! Along with his rockstar persona he is a real sweetheart. Always looking out of his sister and band members. Making sure Violet can see her future.
There are so many times throughout the book that I could see certain scenarios come to life. Especially when they were doing their photo shoot. The pair have emotional ups and downs especially when connecting his father with her cousin and Wreck. I shed more than one tear reading their long lost love notes.
The author weaves past characters in the trilogy but not overwhelming so. I could have read more about Finger though! Overall it was an enjoyable trilogy that has a little drama to keep their story moving forward.
