This book, honest to goodness made me laugh like I haven't laughed (because of a book) in a while. It was funny and quirky, and a lot of fun to read. I loved how both Emily Franklin and Brendan Halpin could write about such a serious topic without making it too heavy. It had an undertone of hope, love, happiness, and understanding. It was quirky, interesting, and alluded to a lot of things about society that can still be applied to to today. Such as Irene passing when it's convenient or the trouble of marriage. Not to mention, we all know someone like Clare. Dazzling and interesting, but so annoying because they're just so enamoring. Larsen created a wonderful piece of fiction with Passing. I wouldn't mind reading more of Larsen's work....more
