Absolutely amazing. A perfect read for any science-fiction lovers.
This book really gave me stress, but guess what? It was pretty much worth it. Everything was so unpredictable, so many shits were happening and literally chaos everywhere. It almost felt exactly like watching a movie because the visual aids of this book were incredibly helpful! The writing style was strange, yet a very unique way of telling a story. It was a bit hard to follow at first, but once you get used to it, you'll get through the rest of the book easily and more quickly than you would realize. (The book is only thick because of the visual aids, so don't get tricked by the length! :D) The sensors of the curse words were hilarious, especially when you see higher-ranking staffs doing it during a panic. lol. I was screaming internally throughout the whole time reading this. Like who wouldn't? It was really scary, not because it was terrifying, but more like because I got really nervous and worried that a character I really like, would get hurt or worse, die. The second half of the book was so thrilling and intense that I literally had a nightmare about it after reading it late at night. ><
Now let's talk about the characters. Oh my goodness.
Kady was BADASS. She didn't have fighting skills or whatever, but she literally saved thousands of lives with just her brain! I mean, WOW, if there hadn't been Kady, everyone would have died since the first Lincoln's attack. She was brave, smart and strong in her own way. No wonder Ezra couldn't stop loving her. <3
Ezra was a cutie, okay? He could sometimes be awkward and all, but he and Kady 100% deserved to be together and (view spoiler)[I was so happy that they got to be together at the end!! (hide spoiler)]
The people whom I will sadly miss would be James and Byron. =( (view spoiler)[Can anyone actually believe that everyone from the first half of this book all died with the exception of Ezra and Kady (who both also barely survived)? (hide spoiler)]
The ending: KADY IS AWESOME! YOU GO GIRL! Tell them what you got! ;) I hope Ezra's mom will rot in hell.

It has been only a week and a half, but I feel like this series has become a part of me that I will forever remember.
I truly have never felt this attached to a book for so long and this series was unlike anything I've read before. Yes, I've read The Grisha Trilogy. It was a good series, but despite it having written by the same author as well as being in the same universe, I've found SOC series to be at least ten times better. Two books can't be enough. I need MORE. It was really sad to finish this series, but I believe I would get to re-read it again soon! :D
To be honest, none of the scenes in this book was useless and each of them was very essential from a chapter to another. It's like if you miss even something tiny, you may as well miss the whole point of the book. It's also 100% unpredictable and I absolutely loved that about the book.
Quotes that made me cry
“I would have come for you. And if I couldn't walk, I'd crawl to you, and no matter how broken we were, we'd fight our way out together-knives drawn, pistols blazing. Because that's what we do. We never stop fighting.”
“No mourners, no funerals. Another way of saying good luck. But it was something more. A dark wink to the fact that there would be no expensive burials for people like them, no marble markers to remember their names, no wreaths of myrtle and rose.”
“Nina glanced from Inej to Kaz and saw they both wore the same expression. Nina knew that look. It came after the shipwreck, when the tide moved against you and the sky had gone dark. It was the first sight of land, the hope of shelter and even salvation that might await you on a distant shore.”
P.S Sorry for such a lame review, but the more I love a book, the more stupid my review becomes so I'd rather post a short one instead. :D Oh, and if you haven't read this series yet, what are you waiting for? Read it now before you regret not reading it earlier!! :P
Re-read (July 5th, 2018) STILL MY FAVORITE SERIES. ❤️...more

Excuse me, but I need to head to the corner and sob for three hours. How do people even review this book?
I can't even think of what to write. It's too much. Too.much.pain. Even five millions stars isn't enough to be given to this absolutely amazing book.
If I were a Grisha, then this book is my version of jurda parem. I spent the whole week to get through the first half of the book, yet only one day to finish the other half. It was slowly devouring me and now I'm trapped in this fandom forever.
If you haven't read this book yet, what are you even doing? Drop everything and read it immediately! I bought this series a month ago and it was stuck on my shelf since then. Right now, I'm still questioning why I hadn't thought of picking this up earlier.
My opinion on the ending: [image] Also me by the end of Pekka's POV: [image]
My favorite quotes from the book:
“Many boys will bring you flowers. But someday you'll meet a boy who will learn your favorite flower, your favorite song, your favorite sweet. And even if he is too poor to give you any of them, it won't matter because he will have taken the time to know you as no one else does. Only that boy earns your heart.”
“A gambler, a convict, a wayward son, a lost Grisha, a Suli girl who had become a killer, a boy from the Barrel who had become something worse.”
“But all he could think of was Inej. She had to live. She had to have made it out of the Ice Court. And if she hadn’t, then he had to live to rescue her.”
The hilarious moments
“Please, my darling Inej, treasure of my heart, won’t you do me the honor of acquiring me a new hat?”
“Saints, Kaz, you actually look happy." "Don't be ridiculous," he snapped. But there was no mistaking it. Kaz Brekker was grinning like an idiot.”
“Jesper: “If Pekka Rollins kills us all, I’m going to get Wylan’s ghost to teach my ghost how to play the flute just so that I can annoy the hell out of your ghost.” Kaz: “I’ll just hire Matthias’ ghost to kick your ghost’s ass.” Matthias: “My ghost won’t associate with your ghost.”
Have I told you how much I ship Kaz and Inej? Sometimes I felt like I really need to punch Kaz in the face for making me really frustrated. However, I loved the fact that the romance wasn't centrally focused and yet, it still makes everyone completely crazy about it and crave for more every time.
You, Inej. You.
Kaz, please.
First re-read (22.06.2018) HOLY FVCK. I WILL NEVER STOP ENJOYING READING THIS BOOK. ...more

The series just kept getting better and better. I couldn't believe it ended and I wish there were more!! :( I literally read this book in a day if you don't count sleeping, eating and taking a bath. Yes, the book is THAT great because I couldn't put it down at all.
This book started off with our Marguerite chasing after the Home Office Marguerite a.k.a Wicked , who's basically a psychopath version of herself who wanted to kill all their other dimensional selves. I have to admit, Wicked clearly had so much problems going on. She needed more love and attention, obviously but that wouldn't be a justification why she would go around killing her other selves just because she loved to hurt people.
Londonverse So, we finally came back to the first universe our Marguerite ever visited. This was the world where she lost her whole family in an accident since she was young. It turned out Wicked apparently left this Marguerite hanging from many feet above the river from a plane (?) so that she would fall to her death. (view spoiler)[Our Paul was there too, but unfortunately she couldn't be saved so Marguerite had to use the firebird to jump to the next universe merely before this dimensional self of hers died. (hide spoiler)]
Egyptverse I really liked this one. Once Marguerite leaped from the Londonverse, she found herself in danger immediately. Nice work, Wicked. But she got saved by Paul and her Dad in that dimension just in time. It turned out her Paul was still in Londonverse - probably had to make sure they found her body before following her to this universe.(view spoiler)[ They finally met, but had an argument and Paul had to go outside for fresh air. Theo came in, but it wasn't him from this dimension. It was that asshole Triadverse Theo and he literally strangled her to death after he begged her to leap out immediately before he could kill both Marguerite at the same time. Fuck you, Theo. (hide spoiler)]
“Sometimes the memory of horror is worse than the horror itself.”
Spaceverse Okay, I really feel bad for everyone in here. Wicked almost threw this Marguerite into outer space, but she was saved again. Somehow our Marguerite convinced everyone she had a mental issue so that she had to be watched 24/7. It wasn't long until she realized Wicked had a plan B, which was going to kill everyone in the entire space station, but they got to save everything and everyone just in time. Paul said he had to work on something so Marguerite would be following Wicked by herself.
Romeverse This was one of the most awkward universes ever, because Paul is a priest. A priest!! Marguerite met Romola, whom she had come across in multiple dimensions. (view spoiler)[She was actually the one from Home Office in that moment so she used Marguerite's firebird to destroy the Romeverse then took it away. The Warverse Paul came to save Marguerite just before the universe crumbled. (hide spoiler)]
Warverse The Warverse had invented their own firebird at last. Marguerite also found out that the dimensions had found a way to contact each other now! YASS! Her Paul was working on a device that would protect a dimension from being destroyed so he wouldn't be able to follow her for now.
Triadverse Marguerite found out she was on a plane to Ecuador, the place this universe Paul was staying at. She met Conley and Theo and they told her to do what they said or else they'll hurt Paul. (view spoiler)[ She was smart enough to manipulate them that the Home Office actually hated them so Conley asked to go back in anger. Theo, that asshole, drove himself into an accident, killing Triadverse Conley and eventually died himself too. (hide spoiler)]
Cloneverse This dimension made me laugh so hard! XD I mean, apparently Marguerite had eight clones of herself but of course, Wicked didn't know that. So, they were finally face-to-face at last and had a huge fight before their Mom could stop them and finally, Theo went in to help and he was actually our Theo. (view spoiler)[ So, Marguerite arranged her clones for her other dimensional self to travel into and had a meeting which was a mess. They agreed to join force to prevent Home Office from destroying their universes. Her Paul eventually came in a join the meeting too and he was able to tell apart all the Marguerites. Aww. (hide spoiler)]
Moscowverse Another awkward universe because Marguerite is apparently deaf and used sign language, but she was married to Paul and even had a daughter together. That night, her Paul came too and they had a night together. *wink*
Home Office(view spoiler)[I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK WHEN PAUL DIED BECAUSE I THOUGHT OUR PAUL DIED TOO WTF WHY IS THE AUTHOR SO CRUEL?? Something was kinda off though because Marguerite's parents regretted their mistakes too easily and I found that weird. (hide spoiler)]
(view spoiler)[ Our Marguerite's universe nearly collapsed but was saved by her firebird and Paul's. (Speaking of Paul, HE'S ALIVE!!!) (hide spoiler)]
“He takes my hand and says, 'Let's make a world.” I swear I didn't cry.
I didn't like the ending because I didn't want the series to end, obviously. But this was one of the best sci-fi I've ever read!! I loved everyone from our Marguerite's universe (Except for Conley. Really.) Paul and Theo's friendship was what I live for. The way Theo called Paul his Little Brother melted me every time. And Marguerite was so pure. I mean she was like NO SEX TALK PLEASE NOOOOOO. STOP. every single time....more

Second read: (13.10.2017): It was quite an effort to not cry since my parents were around. This book killed me as hard as the first time I read it.
I can't believe I finally finished this!!
To be honest, I really enjoyed reading this book, except starting from the part where Rhysand was resurrected, everything was suddenly in a rush. I mean, the writer had to write 699 pages including some scenes that were unnecessary to the plot, yet she still didn't make the ending good enough. 😩 Regardless of that, I am totally in love with this series and its characters!
Rhysand: I loved him so much in ACOMAF and I love him even more here! He's just so unbelievably cute and charming even during battle! His death scene was literally unnecessary if he were to be resurrected in the next 4 pages anyway. But I just hope Sarah would never do that to us again. Reminds me not to never mention his name and Page 666 in the same sentence.
Feyre: Our beloved badass High Lady! Some people may not really like Feyre, but let's admit it. Without her narration, this series would never be the same! She is amazing as always and how much love she has for her sisters melt my heart.
Mor: That fact that she was bisexual literally came out of nowhere. I didn't really like her in this book as I did back in ACOMAF though.
Azriel: I hope I'm not the only one who really wants him to end up with Elain... I mean, what's with the hint about mating bond being able to be ignored? No hate to Lucien, but I don't see the sparks between Elucien at all. That part when Azriel went to Hybern's army camp with Feyre to rescue Elain was hella intense!!
Cassian: Nessian all the way!! I really love how he secretly cares for Nesta, but rarely shows it and still won her heart at the end! That scene with the King of Hybern was AMAZING!!!! I hope they would talk about this OTP more in the next book of this series! It's my second favourite pairing after Feysand! Mating bond please! :')
Amren: Can anybody tell me what Amren's true form was? I didn't get it. And I totally ship her with Varian by the way.
Tamlin: Am I the one who really feel bad for him? I mean, the girl he loves so much, now hates him and is in love with his biggest enemy. Then his best and most trusted friend left him to live in his enemy's territory. He is one of the characters I never truly like, but I just hope he would have a happy ending of his own.
Ianthe: I have nothing to say about this bitch and wish she can now rot in hell with the King of Hybern.
Things I'm shocked/surprised about: •Helion being Lucien's father (I AM STILL SHOCKED) •Mor being bisexual •Page 666 (Don't we all?) •Tamlin wished Feyre to be happy •The Suriel's death •The Weaver and The Bone Carver's helps in the war •Feyre's father's surprise appearance (I cried.) •Azriel and Elain's closeness (I SHIP)
Things that were not explained well: •What did Feyre actually see in the Ouroboros mirror? •How did Amren even come back to life?
Well, that's it. I can't believe I have to wait another year for the 4th book. I'm very curious about who the book will be about. What do you think?...more
