So in this one we have Samuel, the foster kid of Declan and Jeremy from book one and Will, the straight dude who was hit on by Simon from book two. They have become best friends and roommates after Will buys Jeremy's house.
Samuel is young and was invited to Brad's wedding and doesn't want to go as he and Brad were hooking up on the down low until the engagement announcement. Will decided he would be Samuel's boyfriend and they go on a fake date and then cuddle on the couch. Will figures out that he wants Samuel and they decide at the wedding to be a couple.
It was really quick and fast with no angst and I loved it.
There is a 5 year jump in the epilogue and its so sweet.

Anyways, this story is about Jake, a gay flight attendant with very little self respect and Gabe, a marine who did not want to catch the gay.
When you write a gay or hi awakening, one must tread carefully. You have to show the confusion and fear of change, but not make the person not likeable. Gabe really was unlikable for most of the book. Jake seriously should have kicked him to the curb and went on with his life. He was all about not being "the gay" and totally erased bi people.
Basically, these two childhood friends finally end up hooking up but Gabe tells Jake "no homo" after each touch. Not literally but that's what it felt like.
Once Gabe gets past this thinking he actually is fine and I'm glad they got together. They spend very little time together afterwards cause of their jobs, so that part was glossed over.

I had no preconceived thoughts on this book as I only knew about it when LC/Joel sent out the email about it. But omg!! I thought The God Bearer series was the best of the best, but I was wrong. Also, this ends on a cliffhanger. Since I did read the other series, I was not surprised.

In here we have Brad. A guy who is swole and treats his twin brother really badly. He is also deep into the frat life and keggers. One day he makes his brother mad as he was teasing him about the mf paranormal wolf shifter book he was reading. After Devon storms out, Brad decides to read the book to see what was what.
Ok so here's the thing. The romance book was about an omega named Catalina and an Alpha wolf shifted named Raul. This is important as after an accident, Brad ends up in the actual book.
Its exactly the same except that Catalina does not exist and everyone just believes that Brad is an omega but human. Brad and Raul bond as Alpha and omega, even though both are straight. Eventually Brad realizes that the book is retconning the story with him in it. And just like what happened to Catalina, Brad goes into heat.
After a token resistance, Brad and Raul mate and Brad takes a knot. While knotted, he finds out that he could be preggers. Then the book ends.
Ok look, I laughed out loud for real while reading this. Brad is sort of dumb but smart enough to get the gist of most of what's happening to him.
The thing is, he did not finish the book before the accident so I'm assuming at some point it becomes Brad's HEA, eventually....more

Ok, so in here we have Simon, a young guy who has a voracious appetite for sex. For which he didn't feel any shame and that made me happy. One day, after getting his tooth broke after trying to give some soul stealing head, he meets Jackson, an older and freaking sexy dentist. One who happened to be straight until he met Simon. Technically this is a GFY story, but it read more like an instamate connection.
And yes, this is instalove and no angst and it was glorious. It also leans hard into Jackson being a Daddy, I just wish that it was truly a DaddyDom story.
Anyways, Simon has issues with his head not being clear enough sometimes and finds that spankings help, which Jackson was truly happy to help with. Jackson liked to research stuff, like how to have anal sex with men and about spanking and even aftercare. It was so sweet.
The only road blocks in this was Simon not being sure about Jackson actually wanting to be with a man. That was cleared up near the end and then it was smooth sailing.
I was not expecting to like this as much as I did, as I was not very happy about the first book. But I have to say that those mcs kind of redeemed themselves here.
I really hope we get a third book with Will and Samuel....more

That said, this is the sweetest Chara story I have ever read. And that is not a knock on it, I know that some people are hesitant about reading this writer, for them I say jump all over this one. The vibes are hot and the story is good.

So in here we have Flynn, a younger fella who was basically adopted by his best friends family. Especially by Tate's (the BFF) older hunky brother Braxton. A little backstory, Braxton was the daddy already in everything but name for the "younger" brothers. He helped raise them, gave them a place to live after high school, paid their bills, etc. Tate was an outgoing twink while Flynn was the quiet - not good with peopling one who was pushed into many adventures by Tate.
Let me pause here and say I was honestly expecting this to be a MMM with a side of *cest cause, dang, these three had an amazing vibe going on. But unfortunately, this was strictly a regular mm daddy book.
Anyways, Tate decides that Flynn needs a daddy for when Tate moves to NYC. They come up with the idea of going to the Kinkmas party that was setup by Cuff'd the app that I wish was real. Braxton finds out about this plan and decides he will help the boys regardless of the fact that he was straight.
Or was he? GFY can be problematic if not done correctly. This one was written very well. The parts where Brax was coming to terms with his sexuality and his feelings for Flynn were the best parts.

And even though I hated the idea of any of the unworthy asswipes in question touching him the way I had tonight , he deserved to have had his world rocked at some point. I was not going to picture Flynn getting fucked. Not well. Not thoroughly. Not at fucking all.
I liked being his first. I liked the dazed look Flynn had had in his eyes afterward and the hitch in his breath during. And I most definitely didn’t like the idea of anyone else ever getting to feel his hands clutch onto them like they were his fucking lifeline; of anyone else having the chance to lick into the sweet heat of his pretty mouth; of anyone else saying good night to him while their lips still tasted like all the delicious little moans he’d made while he’d been in my— I mean, their arms.
An overreaction and I knew it, but still true even if I wasn’t sure why. Unless… maybe it was a gay thing? Maybe there was some weird chemical reaction that only occurred when two testosterone-loaded tongues collided, something about kissing another guy for the first time that had woken up my latent inner caveman instincts. Huh. Maybe. At least that would explain why a simple fucking kiss had my dick more interested now, even all these hours later, than it had been the last few times I’d been full-on naked with a willing woman.
Because… I was only actually attracted to women, right? I checked in with my dick. It was still fixated on Flynn.

In here we have Shane who is living how his uncle wants because of "secrets". We also have West who apparently went with being a horrible person to hide his "secret".
These two meet when Shane keeps finding West passed out. Personally, I did not find that these two had a connection. Outside of "man he is hot" comments that is.
There is a lot of "wanna tell me what's wrong?" by Shane and even more "stay away from me!" from West. I was annoyed by how many times this happened. Then of course there was the something life threatening happens and trauma bonding.
Then there was an epilogue and a bonus epilogue.
I had tons of issues with this one, but not knowing what I was walking into was the worst....more

Coach was married to a woman for twenty years and they lived together and the young MC interacted with her a lot. They both did, since Emmy's best friend was their daughter. They also have sex together.
Before he starts wanting Emmy and after.
There is no skimming past it either as its there on the first page, throughout the book, and in the epilogue.
Anyways, now that we got that covered, let's get to the story.
Emmy is a young fella who is a senior in high school. He transferred to this school because he was bullied in the previous one. He also liked to dress femme and was extremely pretty. In the new school he joined the cheerleading squad and wore the same thing the others did. Life was not easy for him, as he was not only still being bullied at the new school, his dad beat him up at home. In fact, he made money on only fans as his dad stopped taking care of him.
Now Abe, the coach of the school football team, meets Emmy through his daughter and the fact that a fight broke out during lunch at the high school.
Within a couple of weeks, Emmy is blowing him in his office at school. Things progress from there and yea, it happens in the same house he is living with his wife in.
Eventually coach gets around to telling his wife that he wants a divorce and moves in with Emmy and things get ugly, as one imagines when she finds out about him sleeping with a student.
Then something happens and suddenly she becomes nice to Emmy and has a personality shift.
These two get an eight year later epilogue and the story ends.
Usually with Gianni, I'm loving the story and can't wait to see what happens. With this one, it dragged on and on even though it was a relatively short book.
The cheating/love triangle did not really work for me. Not because of the cheating but of how much the three of them interacted. I mean, when the wife said Emmy was so pretty she could hook him up with a sugar daddy, I thought she would be evil but she wasn't really. Just a woman who worked too much but still loved her family.
This held up well on the re read. I always seem to find something new to learn when you go back and read the earlier books. The best thing about this This held up well on the re read. I loved both of them and the writing was so much better from beginning to end. I wish there was a bit more kink, but the gfy trope made up for it....more
