Tara goes through A LOT of trauma throughout the first half of the book. She also goes through a lot of set backs, but with her men and friends by her side- she has all the support she needs and I just know she’ll be alright.
Nix had to redeem himself for a lot of things in this book. We can see how much he regrets his actions and now that he knows he’s made a mistake and knows that there’s a possibility of Tara never forgiving him- he’s allowed himself to be more vulnerable and open.
SO MUCH happens in Hate the Way You Lie. We learn a bunch of stuff (some things I did not see coming.)
But that cliffhanger?! Absolutely insane and I need the next book asap!!...more

Well written, with a great storyline that moved, Heron Mill had tons of action that keeps our attention to the end.
I was HOOKED from the very first page, and I devoured the whole book at an alarming rate - I loved it! There are times when you can tell that an author is having FUN with a story, and this is one of those instances. This couple is drawn together like magnets, and their chemistry lit up the pages. I loved the intensity of Hunter - he's a jealous, possessive killer. His fierce protectiveness and unwavering care easily melted my heart, and the steamy scenes had such great intimacy to them.
The storyline is NOTHING like I expected, and I absolutely adored the unpredictable nature of it. This might be the most over the top installment Taylor-Lane has ever written, but it was also the most addictive, and it had zero trouble holding my attention the whole way through.
Just make sure you are aware of the trigger warnings. This book is FILLED with triggers.

I’ve honestly never read a book where one of the characters is demisexual and it was amazing to read and learn about something completely different. You can just tell this author put time and research into it.
This was devoured and inhaled like I was under this authors spell. Beyond unique, hot as the desert, and just dark enough to satiate my dark soul, these two were perfection!
Although this can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading Tyrant first (as you get more background information.) Also make sure to read trigger warnings!! This book is dark!...more

I am hoping that Indiana and her guys open up more in book 4. Even though they’ve become closer, there are still so many secrets and I fear that something bad will happen because of it.

Lilith has been thrust into the world of the unknown where vampires, werewolves, fae, dragons, and witches alike exist. While she can typically deal with change, this world is completely unknown to her. The character development, plot line, and world building was perfectly executed and did not leave me scratching my head with questions. I love all the characters that have been introduced especially our funny jokester Blade.
Lorenzo, Cain, Chaos, Sebastian, and Emmett are all swoon worth alpha males and I’m seriously in love with them. They fit with Lilith perfectly.
This is a phenomenal book that is full of steam, different supernatural races, drama, political turmoil, a badass female main character, and plenty of excitement that has left me wanting more of this. I highly recommend this series to lovers of RH, with a delicious side order with light MM!
