And I can totally understand why. But here’s the thing about trauma. It changes you. As someone who’s dealt with something very similar to Eden- I completely understand. Not only did someone who she looked up to hurt her, but it was someone her family always welcomed with open arms.
You have to understand. Eden was only 14. Yes there were times where she was rude and said hurtful things. But (and this is not an excuse), she thought no one would ever believe her. She bottled the trauma up for years. And not one single person really took the time to stop and ask her if she was okay. I mean, I know the brother and Mara asked, but it was only once or (rarely) twice. They gave up on her. Never really opened their eyes. And how could they? They probably never even thought anything like that could happen to someone so close to them.
I went through a lot of emotions in this book. Sadness, frustration, anger, sympathy, and so much more. I experienced every single emotion. Just as I’m sure you will.
In the end, I experienced hope. Not just for her future, but for her and Josh’s as well. Don’t get me wrong, they’ll have their battles, but I’m sure everything will work out in the end and I cannot wait to see how this author tells it....more

This series was an absolute whirlwind, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Peyton and her guys went through a lot together and they deserved the happily ever after they got.
I’m gonna be real though. I’m going to miss these guys like crazy! Peyton, Steele, Colton, Hawke, and Tyler hold a special place in my heart and I don’t want to say goodbye ...more
I honestly wasn’t a fan of the fmc or even the mmc. First of all, the fmc was super judgmental. She called people sluts, cunts, whores, and DNF at 53%
I honestly wasn’t a fan of the fmc or even the mmc. First of all, the fmc was super judgmental. She called people sluts, cunts, whores, and more. It was honestly disgusting to read about. That was the biggest issue that stood out, but there was way more that I didn’t like reading.
So the mmc confused me more than anything. If he was ex military, I’m sure he knows all about PTSD and all of that… so how come he didn’t take into consideration that maybe the fmc doesn’t like to be choked and why was he kind of forcing her to talk about her trauma? As someone who deals with their own trauma and PTSD, that honestly didn’t sit right with me.
So yeah. I just couldn’t finish reading it ...more

This supposedly bad*ss fmc let’s her "friend" f*ck the mmc and she’s okay with it?? And the fact that she doesn’t address it with the mmc and melts whenever he’s around??
Yeah.. that’s gonna be a big fat no for me ...more

Theo has finally come around to the idea of Harlow. I love how he’s lowering his walls and opening up. I cannot wait to see more of these two together as the tease in this book made me gasp and crave more.

**spoiler alert** I saw this book recommended by one of my book besties and I was SUPER excited to read it because of what she told me, but this ended**spoiler alert** I saw this book recommended by one of my book besties and I was SUPER excited to read it because of what she told me, but this ended up being a huge disappointment.
I was ready to DNF the book after the first sentence in the prologue (he was with a woman that wasn’t the fmc), but I forced myself to keep reading… which was a huge mistake.
First of all, our Mmc, Finn was horrible. Don’t get me wrong. I love a possessive Alpha-hole and yes he was both, BUT he was awful to our fmc, Angel. If he knew her better than anyone, why did he immediately think the worst of her and sleep with other people if she was his one and only? I mean it was clear as day that something terrible must’ve happened to her. Second of all, he traumatized her even more.
Now don’t even get me started on Angel. This girl NEVER stuck up for herself. She let Finn talk down to her and say a bunch of crap right to her face.. and she NEVER SAID ANYTHING. Like.. what the heck??
The only reason why this has 2 stars is because of the epilogue (I skipped down to that part lol) and some of the other characters. Other than that- I’d give it a 1 star....more

I loved seeing Ava Jade and her men, but I especially loved getting to know Becca on a more deeper level. When reading Ava Jade’s series- I thought I knew Becca, but boy was I wrong. Without spoiling, let’s just say that if you thought you knew Becca from Ava Jade’s series, you don’t.
There were times were I wanted to shake some courage into Chastity as I wished she would stick up for herself, but tHoly moly. This book was so good!
There were times were I wanted to shake some courage into Chastity as I wished she would stick up for herself, but then I remembered her past and the way she grew up. That girl has been through so much and my heart breaks for her.
Ash is the scowly one who is fiercely protective and loyal (even though he’s a total a**hole,) Bast is the bleeding heart who loves hard and has an awful past, Levi is the alpha hole who was a total d*ck but helped her with her sexuality first, and Jonas is the one who makes her laugh and feel somewhat safe.
This book is full of all kinds of amazing tropes! A must read if you love an action-packed romance, mm, why choose, and a secret society with virgin mmc’s. I'm not sure I've read a reverse harem romance quite like this one, and I’m glad I picked this up!...more
