What I loved about this book was its promising start. I really enjoyed how it opened and how we were introduced to both main characters. There were some genuinely sweet moments between them that I found lovable and heartwarming.
What I didn’t love was the length, over 700 pages for a plot that felt quite predictable. There wasn’t much that kept me motivated to keep turning the pages. I was also put off by the excessive use of alcohol and weed by the main characters. The constant repetition of sex scenes left little room for actual character development, which made the story feel shallow after a while.
Another thing that really bothered me was the hatred Kyran had for Avi. It felt completely unjustified. I kept waiting for a big reveal, some kind of explanation for why he loathed him so much, but it never came. That made it feel like the author took the drama a bit too OTT just for the sake of tension....more
What I loved: • How obsessed and possessive Brandon and Nikolai are about each other • The step-by-step development of their relationship Th3.5 stars ⭐️
What I loved: • How obsessed and possessive Brandon and Nikolai are about each other • The step-by-step development of their relationship The enemies-to-lovers dynamic was portrayed really well • Brandon’s journey overcoming his trauma • How irresistible Nikolai is to Brandon • Nikolai calling Brandon his “baby” • How I devoured the entire story in just one day
What I didn’t love: • Nikolai naming his penis “Kolya” • Some parts of the story were unbelievable, like Nikolai getting his first boner at age five • Even though the author repeatedly emphasizes how much Nikolai loves Brandon (mentioned more than 10 times per page!), it sometimes didn’t feel believable because he didn’t listen to Brandon in certain situations • There were a lot of red flags in their relationship • For a 500-page book, the story could have easily been trimmed down to 250 pages without losing anything important
If this were a real life situation, I would’ve told Brandon to run like a maniac from Nikolai. But honestly, I love reading about obsessive and possessive love in fiction, it makes me happy and swoony, even if it’s over the top....more

I’m giving this book 4 stars simply because I enjoyed it so much. The story is about Andrew Yates getting revenge on the person who used to bully him in high school, but the revenge plan unexpectedly turns into a romance.
I loved how unique the story was and how the relationship between Andrew and Justin developed. Justin is so sweet, and he’s a cat person, which made me like him even more. The way he loves Andrew made me swoon. I also liked how Andrew slowly let go of his revenge and fell for Justin naturally and effortlessly. It was such a great relationship to watch unfold from the beginning.
What I didn’t love were the unrealistic parts of the story, but honestly, I didn’t mind them too much because I enjoyed the book overall....more

I can’t believe this is my first time reading a book by this author, and it honestly makes me sad because I feel like I’ve missed out on so many great romance stories. That said, this book is wonderful! It gave me butterflies until about 70% of the way through. Callum and Oliver are such a perfect pair that I could watch their chemistry unfold all day, every day. The way they message each other and how those feelings blossom into love is so beautifully done. I’m a sucker for celebrity romances, and this one hit all the right notes!
However, the last 30% of the book felt a little flat for me. The story lost some of its spark and became less realistic, which pulled me out of it a bit. Those chapters felt a bit boring, and if they had been more engaging, this easily could have been a five-star read for me....more

I think it’s a case of “it’s me, not the book” because I didn’t enjoy the story as much as I thought I would. I had high expectations before reading it, but it turned out to be yet another clumsy “gfy” story. The part where Riley suddenly realizes he wants Harper and starts feeling all these sexual and non-sexual emotions toward him feels unrealistic. He’s never felt anything for a man before, but suddenly Harper changes everything? It’s actually unbelievable. I also don’t like the way Riley acts like a baby, he doesn’t behave his age....more

It feels like ages ago when I read a book that blew my mind right off. This book is exactly what I was looking for. After reading this story, I felt so content. No big dramas, no cheating; this is just two guys who are disgustingly in love with each other.
“I wasn’t expecting you, Davey. I didn’t see you coming, and maybe that’s how you got under my skin. Deep under my skin. So deep, you got into my blood. Now you’re like napalm running through my veins and I can’t imagine wanting anyone else.”
This story is from David’s journal. You won't feel this as reading a journal, because this is hot AF, and everything is so detailed.
“I’ll never love anyone else the way I love you,” I sobbed.”
I'd like to recommend this book to every one of you, please do read this, you won't regret it! :)...more

I don't know whether it was my issue, but I didn't like how they hardly had fully romantic conversation between them. I know most of you didn't even notice it, but it bothered me a lot.
Nonetheless, the story can be enjoyed, and the plot will keep you interested. ...more

I definitely like Gideon, but I couldn't make myself really like Milo though. But overall, it was a fun read. I loved how Gideon was always there for Milo and understood Milo more than sometimes even his mother did.
The latter part of the book was a bit boring, and I skipped a few chapters. That's why I gave this book three stars. And I would say I'm ashamed of not knowing much about autism, but the representation of it in the book was questionable for some readers, and I didn't even know until I read the reviews that Milo was autistic. ...more

Having been in a slump where nothing could hold my attention, this has pulled me so quickly since it was Brandan Mills' story I had yet to read. And I read this in just one sitting.
Brandon is such a sweetheart, but I loved Alex more than Brandon. He was the reason Brandon made himself go beyond his comfort zone. I loved how every time Alex said "Omigod", I found it so adorable. They were both just so right together!
There weren't any spice sex scenes in the story, but I was happy with what the author had offered me.
The thing I disliked most about the book was Mark. His behavior was sometimes so annoying, and he continuously popped up in the story too....more

I have a soft spot for guys who fall head-over-heels in love with their best friend after realizing they might be a little gay because of the way they feel about their best friend.
Easton and Wyatt were quite a couple. I loved how serene I felt after reading this book. There was no rush between them. But there was palpable temptation between these two, and they couldn’t keep their hands to themselves. I'm so happy that I was able to witness the whole journey these guys went on.

It is so simple yet so beautiful, and the story is too. “You & Me” was so engaging. I read it in just one sitting. I should say, there were a lot of heartwarming quotes that happened between our MCs, and I couldn't pick just one. They were all amazing.
Landon and Luke were head over heels in love with each other, and they were the ones you called "made for each other." They were always kissing and touching, and it never got boring for me to read just one more chapter of them being so in love.
Of course, I loved how less angsty this book was. I couldn't bear any more angst than what Landon and Luke had gone through in their lives before they found each other.
I liked how the story ended, and it was just perfect.

How Lewis discovered his sexuality, and how accepting his parents was really the best thing in the book. Max was also supportive even though there was a bit of misunderstanding between these two.
But I felt like something had been off throughout the story. I tried to DNF it several times because the story was predictable and I'm sure I've read these kinds of stories a zillion times. Nevertheless, the story was really cool and nice, and there wasn't much conflict between MCs.
