I love these two so much, Phoenix is just the perfect person for Noel. I wanted to hug Phoenix because of all the trauma he went through. This was a fast paced story but it works. Davidson King is a master of dark romance and this story fits in perfectly. I loved seeing the Saint brothers and significant others again. I laughed a couple of times because of the antics of the other couples. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series as 5 star reads....more

I love the characters and world building that Davidson King puts into the story. I loved the intrigue and action in the story. This story made me cry several times while reading. Fred one of the main characters is introduced and mentioned in these books. This is Fred and Vincenzos story. Fred is the head of the Irish Mafia but he never wanted that role. Vincenzo is the head of the Lex Talionis an assassin organization. I couldn't put this book down once I started it. I fell in love with Fred from the first time he was introduced and this book just made me love him even more. Vincenzo is just perfect for Fred. This book had me in tears several times, it also brought out so many other emotions. I love the way Davidson King brings the characters to life. This book has it all. I would definitely recommend it as a 5 star read....more

I love watching the characters grow through the book. I love both Easton's kids, Milo and Tru. The story has plenty of everything I need, some angst, some danger, and plenty of tender moments. Duckie does an amazing job at making you feel what the characters do. The story had some sweet moments along with some dark moments. I am not surprised that Duckie Mack can write dark stories as well as she does. I truly enjoyed this story. I also read Silent Knight by Davidson King. I loved Senon and Erza. They are so sweet together. I love Davidson King's stories and this one was no exception. I would definitely recommend this book. ...more

Mason and Gage just belong together. I loved Gage's brothers and Mason's best friend. This book is full of wonderful found family moments. It's dark but so satisfying. Davidson King does such an amazing job telling us this story. This book brings out the same kinds of feels as Onley James' Necessary Evils books. I can't wait to read more from this series. I would definitely recommend this book. A 5 star read for sure....more
