These two are a wonderful couple, parents to a tribe of children, spouses, and grandkids. I enjoy them because though they are clearly still in love so many years on, they are very real feeling. Sniping and growling as couples do. But their deep love for each other and their family reigns supreme. As is their dedication to people.
It was a fun saga, as they and many of their family fight these possessed toys while trying to figure out who’s doing it.

I always enjoy a tight group of friends who see each other as family and this series follows each of these ‘brothers’.
Langdon has a troubled past that he keeps to himself and he works at a bar. Which is where he meets his boss's brother Eric.
There’s a lot of drama in this story. From Eric’s public breakup at the alter, his ex’s family, Langdon’s past and brothers. Not to mention the co-workers and some mystery/suspense.
I do enjoy the friend dynamic and I like Eric and Langdon together when they get there. It does at times feel like the story/series is trying to be too many things at once.

Small-town vibes, two really great guys, a little hurt comfort, an age gap, and Blog | Instagram | Twitter | Facebook
What a wonderful holiday romance.
Small-town vibes, two really great guys, a little hurt comfort, an age gap, and a lot of tenderness.
Aaron - a young man who’s known struggles more than he’s known safety and comfort and home.
Daniel - an older wealthy man with a heart of gold and deep ties with the small-town, but with the sting of lost love weighing on his heart.
The tentative friendship, turned fling, turned so much more is sweet and patient. I love how important they become to each other so quickly and the healing they each help with. But equally beautiful was the town's role in their story.
The common element to the series - The Hook’s Book Nook - is fun, though a small part - the two women who run it are wonderful, I would love a series about them and their travels. ...more

Nothing like a wedding to bring Aron and Paul back together. Not gonna lie though, despite liking Paul I wanted him to grovel more!
Their pandemic hook-up ended with both men running as far from London as possible. But neither can refuse the call of Mrs W. & the Professors wedding. And she’s got a long list to keep them busy, and together.
I’m glad they found their way back together. It was the easiest of paths. Lots of hurt feelings and emotional struggles. But they make a great team.
We also get lots of Mrs. Wimpole who has truly won my heart over the series. ...more
A cute and fun holiday romance about Shane who desperately wants to win a competition to be on Fixer Brothers.
Enter Rowen who offers to fake a relationship. Rowen is laying low and licking his wounds after things go awry in New York.
I enjoyed their getting to know each other and falling in love while faking a relationship. It’s a classic trope for a reason, and the Fixer adjacent aspect is cute. ...more

A really fun and sweet holiday story with a cowboy looking for something of his own and a bookshop keeper who has lost too much in the month of December.
With a great setting, small town, bookshop, cowboy, quirky and loving townsfolk, this a lighthearted story that holds depth and thoughtfulness.
Moody is otherwise smiling cheery sort, until December when his mood plummets with the reminders that the season brings. It’s a known fact, one that the town folk have embraced.
But then in walks a cowboy (all my dreams start that way) and Moody’s best-laid plans get turned upside down. Hudson plays Moody like a fiddle, and before they know it…well they get their happy-ever-after. ...more
Con and Frankie are such a lot of fun, as is their story.
Between their mutual pinning, some awkward misunderstandings, and some really great side characters (including a crime-obsessed parrot), this is a thoroughly enjoyable story.
Frankie is widowed by Con’s best friend. But even if he hadn’t died, it’s inevitable that these two would have found their way to each other. They’re perfect for one another. Best friends and lovers.
Set in a quaint village with open garden days, meddling neighbours - really, the whole shebang. It’s exactly what I love about Lily’s writing.
Not to mention that the narration is done by Joel Leslie, who always delivers a top-notch performance. It’s like Lily and He are made for each other. ...more
Wolf Boy and his Fae - a sweet and patient love story.
Bel is a skittish fae living in a world that hates and mistrusts them. So he’s suspicious of Remi, the sweet wolf who seems determined to befriend him regardless of what others may think and not matter how much he tries to push him away.
Remi is such a lovely person, who comes from a large, warm, and very protective family. But they’ve also all found their soul mates, and it’s the one thing he really feels like he’s missing.
So when he finds him, he’ll fight to keep him.
It’s fun and swoony story, set in a really interesting world. There’s a bit of mystery about how they’ll battle the evil dude who has Remi in his gripe. And I love how it ended.
The audiobook is well done. Narrator Micheal Lesley is new to me, but he’s definitely talented and employed lots of super interesting accents that helped make the characters distinct and enjoyable. ...more
A wonderful Christmas story to start the season off that brings all the feels.
Santa, aka Rick, is an accomplished actor on the outs of the industry. Spiralling out of control, he’s taken a job as Santa, a job he’s none to please about. Until he meets Jayden. Young and determined, he gives his all to the job and along the way sparks life back into Rick.
A lot of healing and soul-searching. And love. A lot of love.
All Wrapped Up is full of warmth and holiday vibes. ...more

I always enjoy a good forced proximity, two guys from very different realities, and holiday romance, and it was also lovely to see some of our other fav characters.
Landry is rich and successful, but he’s also been burned by love and terrible exes. He’s not looking for love. But he finds it regardless with Jamie. He is lovely and sweet but struggling financially partly due to his mother's medical bills. It leaves him insecure and a bit unworthy.
As they learn about each other they both have a lot of layers and baggage to overcome. But it’s a sweet relationship in the end.
The ‘wedding bet’ aspect fell a little flat for me, it kind of felt like it was abandoned along the way, but they are a wonderful couple regardless. ...more
I love Annabelle’s writing style - it’s soft and beautiful.
This small town is so lovely, and though everyone knows your business, they are welcoming and caring. I want to move there.
Jerry and Reed’s story is a slow burn, and bless Jerry for his patience and kindness. He’s such a warm guy. And I wanted nothing more than for him to find the love he deserves.
Reed is understandably apprehensive about starting a new relationship, but there were still multiple times I wanted to shake him and tell him not to let Jerry slip through his hands!
Thankfully neither let that happen, and their relationship is as sweet as sweet can be. ...more
Garrett manages to write the most fascinating characters. Biker turned calligraphy artist?! Stunning.
A critical nurse who’s always on the move and an ex biker who nearly died in an accident and is a bit of a recluse (okay a lot of one!).
Tam reluctant takes on a lodger, Bhodi, and though he does his best to keep his distance, the world conspires to through them together. And slowly these two bruised souls come together in a heart-melting romance.
I love the combination of rough and real men set in the beauty of Christmas. ...more
I love a later in life, second chance at finding love, story.
Jesse and Martin are wonderful, warm men who have battered hearts. Martin has closed his heart after the death of his husband. He never wants to experience that loss again. Meanwhile, Jesse is still reeling from his cheating ex and their divorce.
But something between them sparks and makes them want to try again and find some healing in the process.
It was a lovely, quick read full of warmth and love. ...more

A debut novel by Oliver Takely is a solid start. I enjoyed the premise. Opposites attract, age gap, wealth disparity romance between Sebastian and Charlie.
After a night of passion, their lives are destined to collide, which is perfect because they can’t seem forget about each other.
It’s not an easy-going romance. They both have some serious issues that they need to work through to make it to a happy ending. It gives it a bit of a gritty feel.
It was a little slow, for me, at times, but all in all I enjoyed the writing and the character development and will definitely check out book two. ...more

They were childhood friends, An unconventional short story told through Ieuan about writing a diary about the beginning of his relationship with Elis.
They were childhood friends, who meet again after many years when their families do a joint vacation. Ieuan walks us through them getting reacquainted (which isn’t always smooth or kind). As they spend more and more time together they find themselves drawn together, unable to let go.
It was super interesting to witness Ieuan’s thoughts and understanding of both Elis and their relationship. He’s not always painted in the best light, but like a lot of us, perceptions and feelings are often clouded by our own insecurities.
All in all, a sweet and realistic story of young love, when two people are still learning a lot about themselves.

Up My Alley by Lee Blair, one story in the Love is All Vol 6 Anthology
A low/no-angst double sexual awakening between two BFFs/roommates.
Leo & Hudson make adorable best friends. Dating just makes them cuter and sexier!
Thanks to a not-so-subtle shove by a mutual friend, two recently divorced straight guys start to realize that their feelings towards one another may not be as platonic as they thought.
It’s a sweet story, with a tiktok famous cat, and two guys who are purr-fect for one another.

Over the Top is one of the stories in the Love Is All Anthology, and is part of the new series, Philadelphia Power. Book 1, Against the Rush, was wonderful, and we met Calder and Riggs there, but do not worry, it’s not necessary to have read it to enjoy this one.
They’ve known each other for a while now, and Riggs has been dressing Calder all season, but Calder’s been focusing on his rookie year. But now that the season is over…
It’s clear they both are interested in the other and in a risky move, Calder invites Riggs to make a weekend away at the awards ceremony to be their first date!
What comes next is a really adorable whirlwind date, with sweet and thoughtful outings, Calder talking up Riggs’ skills to anyone that will listen, and cute coupling.
Surrounded by the snarky (yet caring and loyal teammates) this makes for a really great short story.

What a great story. When things go awry, poor decisions are made, and a sweet romance is started, you get Deck the Hulls.
Adam accidentally kidnaps Elijah while ‘borrowing’ his boat to dispose of a body he didn’t kill. The poor guy really was trying to turn his life around, it was just harder than he thought.
But after meeting the boat captain hopped up on cold medicine and bossier than he looks, he falls hook line and sinker.
It’s such a fun story, and it keeps you guessing about how he’s going to get out of this mess, but Elijah sweeps us all off our feet, and they get their dreamy happy ever after. ...more
