Before this tale ends, all manner of other horrors occur, including yet another chance with Nick and another proposal (this time from the firefighter to Harper) and when everyone shows up to observe that particular occasion, what is Harper going to do? You guessed it; she says yes so as not to hurt his feelings, but she's certain it will never work. Will it? And what's she going to do about her burgeoning feelings (again!) for Nick?
