My journey with the Hollow Boys started almost a year ago and now I’m at the precipice of saying my final goodbyes. I belive no other series will ever compare to this one: the plot, the writing, the ups and downs, the characters – Monty talent is like no other.
The final book presents us with the quiet one, yet lethal like a poison, Silas. He was the one who lost the most at the beginning of the whole series. The long run plot was to find the revenge for his lost love. The whole time he felt the enormous gilt: for not saving Rosie, for thinking he’s the one responsible for all the bad things, for his father condition, for lying to his friends. Now, having the chance to finally see him unravel all the knots and mostly getting his peace of mind is a true happy ending for me.
Coraline comes to Silas life as part of a deal, in exchange for her safety she agrees to marry him. Coraline is another broken part in his exsistence. She went through a lot, she survived only for her little sister, Lilac, and her past trauma dictates her current behaviour. She’s sad and angry on everything and she pushes everyone aside. She’s reserved and timid. But when she ‘s ready to heal, she’s doing it fully.
What happens when two beautiful, broken and bleeding souls find each other in a time of distress? They mend together and bloom. They start to open up for one another: she learns how to trust again and he how to love. They are each other strength and a helping hand. They anchor one another. They save themselves. They become one.
If you worry Rosie will be forgotten because of that, then don’t. She will always have Silas’s heart just like he will have hers. Her memory will long live in every characters’ mind along in every reader’s. The way Monty paid homage to Rosie will forever be remembered.
It’s a bittersweet goodbye, but it’s the ending we all deserve: free of lies, and full of hopes and possibilities. This book closes a beautiful journey, leaves us with astounding memories and a heart full of love for the author! Thank you, Monty! To the styx

This was actually my first time reading a book solely written by Samantha, as I am more familiar with ARC review for 'Player Problems' by Samantha Bee
This was actually my first time reading a book solely written by Samantha, as I am more familiar with her writing in collaboration with G.N. Wright. However, I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Player Problems’.
The storyline follows Torryn Gray and Baylor Levine, two outgoing individuals who surprisingly have never crossed paths before. They meet at a random college party, hook up, and quickly become best friends with benefits.
I have never seen a couple fall for each other so seamlessly before. Torryn and Baylor are perfectly compatible in every aspect, and it was a joy to witness their relationship blossom as they became each other’s rock and constant support.
Torryn is the kind of best friend every girl dreams of having - strong, confident, loyal, and unapologetically herself. Despite facing challenges in her past, she remains mature and responsible, balancing her studies and work to take care of her grandmother and younger siblings.
In contrast, Baylor is the caring, sociable hockey star who thrives on being surrounded by friends and loved ones. He is always there for his team and friends, going above and beyond to support them in every way.
Their group of friends, as well as Baylor’s family and Torryn’s, add another layer of warmth and support to the story. I hope to see more of them in future books.
The book may appear lighthearted with its pink cover and funny moments, but there is a darker side to the story involving a stalker that adds a thrilling element towards the end.
If you enjoy friends-to-lovers hockey romances with a touch of humor, a hint of suspense, and two cute cats thrown in, then this book is a must-read. I found myself hooked from the first few chapters and couldn’t put it down until the very end.
Overall, ‘Player Problems’ is a fun and engaging read with plenty of surprises to keep you entertained throughout....more
'Beautiful Sin' is an amazing start for the new dark why choose series. A series I will love to piecesARC review for 'Beautiful Sin' by Jennilynn Wyer
'Beautiful Sin' is an amazing start for the new dark why choose series. A series I will love to pieces, if the pace and storytelling remain the same throughout the other two installments.
We meet Synthia, a young innocent woman who has no recollection of her past beside bone-chilling nightmares she's been enduring for most of her life. She's about to start her education at the prestigious Darling Founders University. She's here on a scholarship and is determined to become a doctor to help those simmilar to her, people with severe physical and emotional trauma.
One night an unfortunate event put three deadly handsome and lethal men in her way. Tristan, Hendrix and Constantine are entitled rich men, nine months away from taking their respectful place in the Society, a secret organisation made and run for people hungry for power and money. Tris, Hen and Con are eager to take that power back and send to hell those who raised them.
When the world spins on its axis, the four of them are suddenly forced to adjust to a new reality. Now Syn's in the middle of interest of the Society and some Russian rivals, and the boys have to take her under their protection and find out her real identity.
This story is compelling from the first to the last breathtaking scene. It's flawlesly written giving small crumbs away about all the characters and their past, shedding layers of boys' characters and bringing out Syn's fierce and dormant nature. The mystery of Syn's past brings enemies closer, but also pulls Tris, Hen and Con into her gravity. Beside, the chemistry and connection is instant and immense like the four elements come as one. It's beautiful to watch how the four of them change and evolve, and start to work as a unit.
I liked everything about this book. Even this heart-wrenching cliffhanger. But I know it will be worth to wait to see the Phoenix rising from the ashes....more
