I am a huge fan of dark romance books.. but this book somehow disappointed me. The FMC.. she was soooo whiny and she was crying all the time.. I wanted to see her being brave at some point, but I feel no that won't be happening..
I loved Kai's character alotttttt. He was very well written and presented.
The story at some point was confusing. I read so many dark, gore books and the books with dystopia era.. so i know the building is different in such cases. But here i felt it was very confusing.
I wanted to devour Kai's character but i wasn't able to due to so many confusing statements.
Kai was the only reason I read this book. But it could have been much better....more

Cora's character was beautifully written. I loved her and the way she owned her sh*t. She is in a loveless marriage with an asshole Oliver. He was a moron and a cheater.
But one day, he vanishes... like poof.. he was gone and Cora was finally in peace.
But it was not long lived. Oliver was back and her doorstep. Her jaw dropped like anything.
But is he actually Oliver or someone else?
Vozs... I need this man. He is what every woman needs in her life. His adoration and devotion for Cora was commendable. He was so sweet and I loved the way he was written.
