Micheal Connelly is hands down my favorite storyteller!...more

It’s really hard to talk about it without giving away the ending. Suffice it to say, with all the events in the book, you start to suspect something else is going on. And it’s confirmed at the very end. I am really excited to see where Mark Greaney takes the series next!...more

I know a lot of readers were really unhappy with the ending. I admit, the pope election was a little unbelievable, but that didn’t bother me too much. I always enjoy the ones that have some kind of Vatican involvement…Rome is a beautiful city with fabulous art. Silva’s descriptions bring me back there. As always, a good thriller from an excellent author....more
Another fantastic entry in the James Reece series. The story is brutal, gritty and very intense. But it is well worth the read. I don't want 5/5 Stars
Another fantastic entry in the James Reece series. The story is brutal, gritty and very intense. But it is well worth the read. I don't want to say too much or I will give it all away. Our favorite regulars are back: Raif, Katie and Liz. And there is a great cliff-hanger at the end. I'm glad I already have #4 The Devil's Hand in my possession so I can continue the adventure! Great series for fans of Mark Greaney, Vince Flynn/Kyle Mills, Brad Thor and Brad Taylor....more

Another excellent entry in the Gray Man Series. Mark Greaney is getting stronger and stronger with each novel in the series. This time he does it a little differently. Court is on a more personal quest this time. In addition, this time we get to hear Court's thoughts in the first person while the rest of the book is written in 3rd person. I thought it was really well done and enjoyed the different points of view. It really brought you in close to the action from Court's mind...who is just as sarcastic as you'd expect him to be. Great cliff hanger ending! I'm just sorry I have to wait until February 2021 to read the follow-up. Highly recommended!...more
