Especially loved reading my dad (and his sibling’s) copy that I recently procured from a recent purging at my grandmothers house. Was able to snag a few editions from the 59s and 60s, and I love them. ...more

Slowly and steadily, I read each section over the last 10 mornings as part of my devotional time in the morning before I begin my day. Praising God for the lasting legacy of men like AW Tozer, for their faithfulness and obedience, and how timeless the principles he shares. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, so although this book is over 80 years old, this faith walk and desire to follow Christ has remained true throughout the ages. This will definitely be something I return to. ...more

Decided to read one of her works I had never read before and I found Northanger Abbey to be highly entertaining and I fell under the spell of our unlikely, rambunctious, and imaginative (to a fault) heroine Catherine Morland. This was fantastic on audio, specifically the Audible Original, as it was narrated by a full cast and featured music throughout. So enjoyable! ...more

This is an absolute treasure and I cannot wait to return to it again dying a future Christmas holiday ...more

He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the good old city knew, or any other good old city, town, or borough, in the good old world."
3.5 hours of absolutely perfect, yuletide pleasure! Tim Curry masterfully narrates this classic tale that I nostalgically read and reread every Christmas season. One of my favorite Dickens classics!...more
