Bree + Ash
We already met both in previous Stark books. Ash is the long lost son of Damian and Bree is the Stark's nanny. But now she's also a famous author with her first bestseller romance. There has always been a super spark between Ash and Bree but they never started anything. Bree feels she's still not ready to trust anyone again after her kidnap ordeal years ago. But Ash can't get her out of his head! And then Bree starts getting weird messages and Ash is the only one who can help.

I love reading Stark World Stories. And this one was just as great as others. Sweet, sparky, sexy, dangerous, mysterious, heartbreaking and so much more. Even if we didn't really see any Damian in here it was still a great book. Little Damian is just as great as his dad! This book takes us from Malibu to Vegas to Austin and I loved that. Then we have the mystery of who is the bad guy this time? Didn't they all die? What is happening and what can Ash do to help? I loved reading this. Can't wait for Aria and Matthew's book next!
WICKED HEAT was a very sexy and mysterious and sweet and just great new book in the Stark World. READ IT!!

Livia has been on the run from her horrible ex for almost a year. She's working for the Giltmaker's brewery and living in the apartment above the office. But now that the old boss is recovering from a heart attack his son is taking over for a few weeks. The same guy she almost went home with from a bar last fall. And the same guy she almost had arrested this morning because she thought he was a bad guy her ex sent!

Adorable! I just love Sarina's Vermont books. All that beer and cider and the pastries. This book was all beer and family and criminal exes. Nash is so adorable and Livia is so skittish and scared. And to get to our happily ever after we first have to survive Livia's ex and we have to make Nash's dad a bit less grumpy so that Nash wants to stay and work for the family beer business forever! And we love to read all about that!
Great romance! It was funny and sweet and sexy and vermonty and beery! READ IT!

Like with the first two books - we all know this story already. Ava told it to us years ago. But now it's Jesse's turn to tell his side of everything - and it's a LOT that we never knew! This last book is just as crazy and Jesse-ish as the first two. Ava just agreed to marry him - in two weeks. And Jesse still hasn't talked to her about his past! Plus there will be some dangers coming if we remember correctly... It will be a long while until our two darlings will be able to ride off into that happily ever after sunset!

Eilidh + Fyfe
Eilidh has been in love with her brother's best friend for years. She went away to become a famous actress but that life is not her future. She wants to come back home and that's where Fyfe is now too. Back home in Ardnoch. He's been in love with her too for a while now. But he just can't be with her. He thinks he's not good enough for her. And he can't date his best friend's sister! Right? But when things in his life take a very unexpected turn, Eilidh is there for him and it is so hard to try to stay away from her.

[image] [image]
The second book in Sam's Highland next generation series and the final Highland series book ever! I loved this! Poor Eilidh is so unhappy in her lonely life in London. Acting is not what she always dreamed it would be. She hates the social media comments and all the hate she gets for a role she only plays on TV. And then she's also been unhappy in love for over a decade. Fyfe and her whole family always thought she only had a kiddie crush on her brother's friend. But it was so much more. And now they're both back home. It could become something more now, right? But ugh. It's not as easy as that. We get some very dangerous and suspensy moments and so many very adorable baby moments. I just adored this final book in the Highland series. I especially loved the very end with all the... nope... not telling you!
And now I'm just quoting my previous reviews: from the covers to the final words ... Sam's Scotland books are just beautiful! Can't wait to see what she will have for us next!
FOREVER THE HIGHLANDS was the perfect final book in the beautiful Highland Series! Sweet and funny and sexy and suspensy and dangerous and emotional and just adorable! Run to your nearest bookdealer for your own Fyfe - this one is MINE!

They meet(cute) in a coffee shop in Chicago. Insta attraction. But they're not in their twenties anymore. People their age don't just date, right? Both are also single parents to a teenager. Sidney is a hockey scout and his son is about to be a hockey pro. And Skye kinda hates everyting about hockey due to her baby daddy being a douche canoe ex hockey pro. And also what if their kids won't get along - they can't start anything without the kids approval.

Adorable!
We didn't know we needed this little prequel! It was so cute and funny and just perfect. Skye is so much like our Vi! Just as clumsy and crazy and adorable! Sidney is mega DILFy in all the ways! And Vi and Miller as teenies. Adorbs! This is a super cute extra for allPucked fans. And it's also a cute little love story for everybody who has never read a Pucked book before. Read them now!

Second Generation here we come! Callie and Lewis have been in love since they were kids. But seven years ago they broke up and now hate each other. They still love each other - obviously - but of course it won't be easy to fight for that love while hating each other and with Lewis living in London and Callie back home in Ardnoch. But one night at his sister's party changes everything...
══════════════════
[image] [image]
The next book in Sam's Highland series! This time we jump ahead in time a bit. Lewis and Callie are all grown up! He's an architect in London and she's back home from Paris to work in her mom's bakery! We go back in time a few times to see how they got together and how they broke up. But mostly we watch them fall back in love and dealing with being back home. Back home with all the Adairs and old friends and enemies...and all the things. And like in all the Adair and Highland books we have this tiny suspensy mystery in here too.
From the covers to the final words ... Sam's Scotland books are just beautiful! Callie and Lewis got on my nerves a tiny bit here and there for being too immature. Just talk to each other ... jeez! But I loved reading this. It was so sweet and sexy and adorable and funny and we got to see ALL the people again. Can't wait to see what will happen with Eilidh in the next book! Forever the Highlands

Rose + Danny Beau + James Pearl + Brad
We're back with all our darlings. Now that one couple has a new baby and the other two are now married and expecting... we can concentrate on Brad and why he tries to resist his age-gappy attraction to Pearl. Is it just the age? Or is it the fact that Pearl was kidnapped and had things done to her that he doesn't want to think about? Or is it her past? There are things she's not telling us... But of course Brand and Pearl are not the only stars in this final book. Danny and James are still looking for that one missing bad guy and now suddenly some other bad guys are trying to pin some murders on the Black family. And Daniel seems to have some problems at school. And that is so not all!
We have a long way to go until all of them can ride off into that happily ever after sunset!

This was the perfect finale for all our darlings! We got lots of excitement. Suspense. Danger. Mystery. Love. Family. Drama. Fun moments. Sexy times. Heartbreaking Times. ... and all the things! I just adored this final book! I might not be the biggest mafia fan - I don't like it when my heroes torture and kill too many people - but it has to be this was. It was perfect the way it was. Even though it took us a long time to get to that happy end for everyone! Amazing series!

Like with the first book - we all know this story already. Ava told it to us years ago. But now it's Jesse's turn to tell his side of everything! He has to win her back. Which won't be easy....

Gio's dream has always been to one day have a big family and own a little place where he can make his own wine. Emma was born into a huge wine empire. But her dad only sees her as an unqualified female. So now she wants to have her own winery in Southern California. Far away from her dad in Napa. Gio and Emma meet on a wine tasting group tour in Tuscany. It's all sparks and wine and fun and amazing moments... But can they have a future together? They kinda basically almost have the same dreams....
Let the fun times begin...

[image] [image]
Another perfect love story in this adorable series. I love the whole family vibe and the weeks in Italy were just amazing. I so wanted to join them in drinking all that wine and eating all that amazing food! You'd think it would be so easy for Emma and Gio just to get together and live their dream winery lives... But it's not. Emma is not dreaming of the big family with lots of kids. She just wants the wine and to prove to her idiot dad that she can do this. And poor Gio. He wants exactly what he had growing up. The perfect family - and his own wine. Plus we have a bit of a health scare too. But we have the whole book to get to that happy end. I really loved reading this. I don't know what it is with me and wine country books. I just adore them. I'm not a big wine-drinking person at all - but those books are just totally my thing.
I so need to see this series on TV one day! The people, the locations, the FOOD and wine.......more
We've already read a lot about them in The Brit, The Enigma and The Resurretion. And now - or rather at the end of the last book - everything was perfect. They got the bad guy and they were all happy on their island. But then they got that call. Their dead bad guy wasn't the real bad guy. That means nothing is over. Everything is still as dangerous and complicated and mysterious as before and we still have a long fight ahead of us to reach that elusive happily ever after for all of them!
Let the 'fun' times begin ...

Winter + BJ aka Randall Ballistic
We're back in the world of the Pucked and All In series. Winter is pretty new in town. She and her parents just moved into grandma's old cottage. Very old and in need of lots of repairs, but it's better than the trailer park. She dreams of going to college and playing hockey. But both those things cost money that she just doesn't have. She's working at the local bakery and using old second hand skating gear. Then she meets BJ. He almost ran her over with his rich boy car. She should hate everything about him. But he's so sweet and flirty and adorable and hot. And he asked her to come to the hockey arena for some skating time - for free! How can she say no to any of that?!
══════════════════
[image] [image]
Adorable!
First... If you're book-weird like I am ... I suggest you read LITTLE LIES & BITTER SWEET HEART first - there's a lot of BJ in there and all the other people are in here too! And if you're super weird - again like I am - just read Helena's Pucked and All In series too before you get to this 2nd generation series!
I loved BJ's story! We've been waiting for his book since we first met him! He and Winter come from completely different worlds. Can't get anymore different than those two. BJ has the perfect life. Perfect parents and siblings and friends. Winter has two parents who kind of checked out of life. Alcohol. Abuse. At least they're still working, but without Winter's help they wouldn't be able to keep a roof over their heads or the power and water bills paid. Can two people from two such different worlds find a happily ever after together? We'll see. I just loved reading this. We don't get the silly cliché fight or misunderstanding that keeps them apart for ages. It's all so sweet and good and I loved that. Of course we have lots of problems and heartbreaking moments. But Winter has finally found her place, her family with BJ and his group of many people. It's just perfect. I just love this series. All the people are so great and all have their own 'things' that will make a great book one day!
This was a really great new adult love story. Not too much drama. Just beautiful and funny and sexy and heartbreaking moments. Full of love and friendship and found family.
I want to see this series on TV one day!
Tiny litte PS. I don't like the cover guy. That is so not how I imagine BJ. No idea why but this guy just looks like he's a 35 year old who is shooting a promo video for a 2002 punk porn movie. And another thing. I complained about that in the last book too. The hero is always a bit too soft for my tastes. All this CAN I HUG YOU? CAN I KISS YOU? I don't want him to force himself on her - she might have some past abuse problems - but this constant asking is so not sexy.
SHATTERED TRUTHS was a such beautiful + heartbreaking + sweet + sexy New Adult Love Story! Full of love and friendship and found family and ice and hockey and all the good things! I just loved it! Run to your nearest book dealer for your own Winter + BJ - they'll be sold out in no time - and this one is MINE!

We're back in the Stars world. Remember? Gaze was first and then came Ruffian's story. So if you're as series-reading weird as I am - start with Drowning in Stars because Austin is in the first two books a lot!
We remember Taylor as Teddi's best friend in the previous book. And we also know that she's been in love with Austin her whole life. And now here's her chance to act on it. Because he saves her from her horrible dorm living situation and he moves her into his room. In his appartment which he is still sharing with his ex. Very comfortable situation for all involved. ...more

Sloane + Walker
If you've read the Adair series - especially the last book - you already met Sloane and Walker. Sloane got pregnant with 16. Her rich Bel Air dad basically disowned her after that and she had to stay with the baby's father. But that didn't work out either so she left Nathan when Callie was just a toddler. For the following years they tried to stay as far away from the violent criminal as possible. That's kinda how they ended up in Scotland now - where Sloane is happily working for the Adairs and dreaming of opening her own bakery.
After leaving the military Walker used to travel the world as the bodyguard of one of the famous Adair brothers, but now he's also settled down in Scotland - working security at the Adair estate.
It was insta attraction on both sides. But only Sloane is showing it outwardly. She just can't read Walker, he doesn't smile or talk much. But he seems to always be there to help her when she needs him.
Both Sloane and Walker have troubled pasts - will they finally be able to get that happily ever after together??

Eeep! A new Sam Young series and we don't even have to leave the amazing Adair world!
This was a great start for this new series! You just can't help but love Sloane and Walker - and Cassie too. They are so the perfect family already but they just don't know it yet! Too adorable! I just adored Walker and how he softens (beyond his thistles) every time he's with Sloane and Cassie. It takes them a while to get that happy end. Lots of bad guys and bad memories are in the way. But we'll get there.
I really loved reading this. I was a bit mad for the slighty uninspired first danger moment. With all those bodyguards and knowing about the danger - that shouldn't have happened - Sam should/could've changed that a tiny bit.
But I still loved the book so much. I loved all the many Adair cameos. And we already meet future characters for this Highland series. GIMMEE!!
Like I already said in my reviews for the Adair books - I could totally imagine this as an amazing Netflix show. We already basically 'see' everything Sam writes about. She describes everything so beautifully. The people, the places... everything. I really need to see this on the screen!
From the covers to the final words ... this series will be just as beautiful as the Adair series!
BEYOND THE THISTLES was the perfect start for this new Adair spin-off series! Adorable and funny and sweet and dangerous and heartbreaking and very sexy! Run to your nearest bookdealer for your own Walker Ironside - this one is MINE!

Luc.
He's the son of 1970 & 80'ies rock stars. He loves his mom - he never met his dad - who is now making a comeback.
Luc lives in London, works for a very weird charity and is looking for his romantic happily ever after. But he's not really finding the perfect guy. Mostly because he's a very complicated guy who is scared to find something serious because of that one bad relationship five years ago!
But now he really has to find someone, because his boss needs him to look good for the press.
Enter Oliver.
He's a lawyer. A vegetarian ... and kind of the total opposite of Luc.
They shouldn't fit perfectly. And they really don't. Which is okay, because it's all fake. But it's not staying fake for long ... because we all know ... opposites attract, right?
What will happen with Luc & Oliver? Will there be a HEA? Read the book to find out! ☺

First of all - the cover! Soo beautiful!
And then the story. I just adored reading this!
Luc is so hilariously over-the-top britishly melancholy-ish ... 'strange' - but we kind of totally get him and he's so very lovable. And Oliver is just über adorable!
Those two should SO not end up together, but we SO want them to.
This was such an amazingly funny and beautiful love story. I just wanted to jump into the book and hug Luc. And shake some sense into him too. ☺
How is this not on Netflix yet?? I would watch 25 seasons of this without getting tired of it.
All the friends and co-stars?! And can we please get an Alex spin-off??? That guy was almost the best part of this book. He made me fall off the couch laughing several times!
Ugh - I don't know what more to say. This was such a beautiful story. So full of British everything. And full of ... Fun, sadness, weather, friends, family, romance, kissing, cuddling, laughing, arguing, crying, falling in love .... and so much more. Basically .. this book is ... EVERYTHING!
I ADORED EVERY SINGLE WORD!

Natalie + Easton
Please don't read this book if you haven't read DRIVE yet. REVERSE is about the children from the stars of the first book - you need to know all about what happened back then to really enjoy this second book!
As I said - this book is about the kids. Remember back in DRIVE, when Stella fell in love with not-yet-rock-star Reid? But things didn't work out because he wasn't ready for her. So she went and fell for her boss at the newspaper: Nate. They were happy for a long while, but Reid was always Stella's real love and in the end they got their happily ever after. And Nate was left heartbroken, but he found his happy end just a short while later too. That's how this second generation got started. Our heroine: Natalie. 22. Journalist. Working at her dad Nate's newspaper in Austin. And our hero: Easton. 22. Soon-to-be-rock-super-star. Seattle. Son of Stella and Reid.
The story starts when Natalie's dad asks her to go through the archives to find important and interesting articles & snippets for their 30th anniversary edition. That's how she stumbles across private emails between her dad and famous music journalist and rock star wife Stella! Natalie is shocked and intrigued and so much more. Natalie and her dad have the best daughter and father relationship ever, but he never mentioned Stella before and Natalie wants to know more. She needs to know everything. That's how she ends up in Seattle under false pretenses to interview Easton about his upcoming debut album - but she really only wants to find out what happened back then. Why the first love of her dad's life suddenly married a rock star!
Don't worry if it looks like I'm telling you the whole story - this book is a million pages long. We're only at the very beginning now. But we already know that Natalie and Easton will get the same kind of epic love story their parents had. But will it be a happily ever after one? With their parents and their pasts? With the first meeting based on lies and blackmail? We'll find out! ...more

If you haven't yet read The Paper Swan you need to run to your nearest amazon and get it. You really should read it before starting this book. It is possible to read this second book as a standalone, but Rafael is in Damian's book so much! Please read it first!
Okay ... The Night Blossoms. We all remember Rafael's story from the first book. But of course we only got a few quick details. And now we get more. So much more. We go back between the past and present a lot. And we hear all about Rafael's loves as well. There's his wife Vee in the present. There's his childhood sweetheart Lina. And then there's Raven - connected to cartel business and student & flower girl Yvette. *fingeronchinconfusedlook* (I'm tempted to walk to a jukebox and play the song To All The Girls I've Loved Before here!) And then there's the fact that Rafael kind of disappeared in the present time and his wife is trying to find out what happened. While also trying to prove that she's not guilty of any crime to the police. Plus there's a lot more in our darlings' lives to worry and be scared about....
What will happen with Rafael and his ladies?? Will we get our happily ever after?? READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺

[image] [image]
I did a Paper Swan re-read before starting this and I'm really glad I did. You don't really have to, but why the heck not? :D But please do. Like I said we go back in time a lot to different places in Rafael's life. I might even say that it was a tiny bit too much - it's a bit confusing at times. For some people - not for me of course. LOL! Rafael's story looks very complicated and confusing if you don't pay attention. We basically know what happened to him in his life up to this point - but we missed so much too. His love-life for example. And that's quite a life. LOL! This book was so mysterious and sad and heartbreaking! We have this darkish, hopeless mood through most scenes and that's what scared me a bit. I wanted that happy end asap, but of course that's not how books work. It takes us a long while to sort through all those mysteries and dangers and heartbreaks and whatnots ... never knowing if we'll get there at all. It doesn't look very promising at times. But through all those confusing and mysterious and dangerous and heartbreaking moments... this book was such a beautiful love and life story. I wouldn't have minded a hundred more pages of romance moments. Of falling-in-love moments and sweet and cute couple moments. Those got a bit lost with all the other lady moments and university-talk moments. But still - I loved reading this story so much! And I wouldn't mind if this Paper Swan/Night Blossoms world would end up on Netflix one day soon!
THE NIGHT BLOSSOMS was such a beautiful love story! So full of Mystery. Danger. Heartbreak. All the things! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Rafael - this one is MINE!
If I had to complain a bit more about things... the mysteries are all a bit too obvious. And the bad guy is a bit silly because it's so pointless somehow. It doesn't have to do anything with anything ... you'd expect something from their pasts to come calling in a bad way, but this was just a bit weird. But pfft - I still loved reading it.
