Maybe this sounds strange, but I haven't reread it als much als the previous books so that many details slipped my mind. In my opinion this ins the second big turning point in the series and it contains so much information that you see the other books in a different light. The whole series is a masterpiece and this book shows that J.K. Rowling is one of the best storytellers. ...more

...more

The Goblet of Fire is my favourite I think it's not necessary to talk about the story, the world-building, the writing, etc. We all know Harry Potter!
The Goblet of Fire is my favourite book, not only in the series :-) It was my first HP read in English (as a reread) and I still remember how many times I tried to read it in the original language. There are so many memories I have with this book and with the following ones. Getting the books on at the release, waiting for the package to arrive and reading until it was finished. What makes this book so special for me is that in my opinion this is the beginning of the Harry Potter books that got me hooked. It's the change from middle grade to YA which got me as I was already 18 when I found out about the series. It is also the first book where you can see that not everything will be okay, that bad things will happen! Thank you J.K. Rowling for writing this book! ...more

I enjoy Sarah's writing and it is a very good book, but I had some issues. It's more like 3.5* than 4. I don't know what to think about Manon's story line as in my opinion it had nothing to do with the story. I'm sure that we'll find out more within the next books, but I was not that interested in her parts. For me Heir of Fire is a good "in between" book. You get much background information but it's not as action packed as the first two books, ...more
