This was a really great addition to Sweet Filthy Boy, I loved getting Ansel’s perspective on the morning after. He's so incredibly sweet! It was touching seeing how he saw Mia and how he already felt their connection and didn't want to let what they had go. Definitely short but oh so sweet!
Ansel is so sweet and swoon worthy and I really enjoyed listening to this! Totally worth the listen! ...more

I loved Hank and Roxie's story. It was I can't get enough of this series. Seriously. Another amazing read. Exciting, entertaining, and sexy. Loved it!
I loved Hank and Roxie's story. It was chalked full of Rock Chick goodness. Hank is just so adorable and good and loving and even though he's got the sexy alpha male thing going on, he's is a bit softer but more sweet than commanding. I thought Roxie was a great character and so different than the other girls but she did have that awesome attitude. She seemed so much more vulnerable and and very relatable to me. I loved how she didn't go seeking out trouble.
Hank and Roxie had a sweet and entertaining relationship. I adore the nickname she gave him. Loved their hot times and Hank’s sexy ways. He might be my new favorite Rock Chick man to date.
This was full of drama and adventure and I loved the pacing and how it played out. In between there where lighters moments and they made laugh out loud. Roxie's parents provided so much entertainment, I was literally laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. They were priceless!
There was more of all the guys and their women and I think it's just a great cast of characters. These books can be read as stand alone but I'm glad I'm reading on order because knowing the back stories make some things even funnier. All the men are so sexy with distinct personalities, I cannot wait Vance, Mace and Luke's stories. The end of this pulls you into the next book, Rock Chick Renegade (it’s time for Vance, yeah!!!).
Excellent story with great characters and lots attention to detail. Kristen Ashley is officially a favorite. #rockchickforever....more

Jet and Eddie are so great. Jet was shy in the beginning but totally bloomed throughout the story. I'm totally in love with Eddie. He’s so sweet but oh so alpha male and swoon worthy. I loved the build with their growing relationship even though there were times I wanted to smack Jet in the head so she'd get a clue.
All of the women in this are fantastic and when they get together it's a laugh riot. I seriously burst out laughing on several occasions. I loved their adventures but I also love that they're there for one another. All the guys are fantastic as well. Oh my goodness all the alpha male-nesss! The more details that were learned about them the more I wanted them to have their own stories. Love all the different dynamics that are at play as well, it was just highly entertaining.
There was LOTS of drama! Jet seemed to be a total bad luck magnet but it made for a heck of a story and I thought it was excellent. I love all the togetherness and how everyone was pulling for her even though she couldn't understand why. Jet was slightly self deprecating but I loved her coming around, figuring it out, and finally some throwing attitude.
I really couldn't put this down. It was a fantastic guilty pleasure as I blew off two days. Loved the relationships, extremely entertaining, sexy alpha males, lots of hotness, and a solid, detailed story with some action mixed on. Another 5 star read for me....more

This baby was long This was an amazingly full story filled with great characters, emotion, growth, love and a whole lot of sexy Colorado Mountain Man!
This baby was long but I was consumed by it. It started with an entertaining animosity between Nina and Max and I was pulled in. Max was so sweet and I loved how he was there for her. Nina was great, I loved her attitude, how strong she was, and I liked her challenging ways. The chemistry and tension those two had going on was immense.
There were so many wonderful moments throughout. Sweet, caring, and loving, it really pulled at my heart. There was also a who-done-it element that had me totally invested. There was just so much that happened and I loved it all. Well written and detailed, excellent character development and great imagery.
This story had just about everything. Drama, intensity, sexiness, anxiety, and a bit of refreshing humor. There was an excellent cast of well developed characters and I loved how they all intertwined. It was just a beautiful story and I lost days to it because I couldn't put it down. It had an action packed ending and I think I went through every possible emotion and ended with happy tears from the beautiful epilogue.
It was just wonderful! Honestly, I felt emotionally drained when I finished because it just made me feel so much. It was just an amazing read. Even though it was long, it was a full, engaging story and it never felt drawn out because it had this wonderful build to it and a incredible happily ever after....more

This was such an amazing story! Beautifully written with these wonderful characters that got under my skin and made me feel. So much depth and emotion, I loved it all. Officially one of my favorites of 2014!
Ethan Holt and Cassie Taylor where well developed characters that were perfect and flawed at the same time, I loved them. Ethan and Cassie have that kind of raw chemistry and intensity that pretty much floored me. The relationship of who they were and who they are now is really felt. When they’re young, Cassie was so sheltered and optimistic and Ethan was closed off and afraid. There was such a sense of vulnerability from him. Those times when he let Cassie in, they made my heart explode. Their present day selves are so different. The hurt they carry from the past makes them who they are now, almost like a role reversal and it's heartbreaking and endearing. Their pull to one another made for some seriously hot moments where you could just feel that urgency of want between the two of them. Scorching!
This was told from Cassie's POV and she had awesome internal dialogue. Some of it was pretty funny and I found myself smiling and there were a few laugh-out-loud moments. At other times you could feel her turmoil and pain as well as his. Ethan had his own battles going on and you could feel how conflicted he was. I loved learning about him and all the little revelations that made him who he was. I felt this heart-in-my-throat build because I knew that moment was coming that was going to change everything. The end was amazing. The moment healing begins as compared to the past which was heartbreaking, made me so freaking happy!
I absolutely LOVE how this story was structured, I was completely engaged as it went back and forth between the present and past. The timing was perfect and there was an incredible build with so many poignant moments. There were so many things that mirrored and paralleled between the two main characters during those times and it had me completely captured. I found it very fitting and symbolic. It’s something that really sticks out as important and special to me, even more so since they had a moment literally involving mirroring when they were young which was intense.
This was just a fantastic story but I will warn you, it's cliffhanger-ish. There's closure for the most part but their story is far from finished. I have so many questions still so I will be impatiently waiting the sequel, Broken Juliet. I need to know. I need more Ethan and Cassie!
I can't stress how much I loved this and how much it made me feel. I am simply blown away by the author Leisa Rayven. This is a MUST READ!

Evelyn and Mateo both come from hard pasts so I felt this undercurrent of emotion throughout while we learned all the details of what they went through. There's a nice amount of foreshadowing too that creates a really great build. It was intense, sad at times, and heart wrenching but I enjoyed how everything came together. There wasn't any major drama until the second half but all those details learned really helped with the build up to it too give it a really big impact.
I liked both Evelyn and Mateo so much, they were great characters. They had such a intense attraction and on more than one occasion Mateo gave me butterflies. They were just so sweet to one another while there was a slow build to their growing relationship and heat.
I liked the additional characters and the sub stories that were happening. I really liked Mateo’s sisters, Lety and Sofia, there was a nice intro to both of them and I will definitely read the next two books that feature each one of them.
Evelyn and Mateo had to go through all this horribleness to find each other and to get to their version of a happily ever after and I liked that they fought for it and how they were there for one another, being strong when they needed to be. This was just a really great intense read and I would definitely recommend it....more

I really liked Jess and was totally intrigued by her job and determination. She seemed so very real to me, they both did. I loved William, he was so sweet and sexy. “Hot. British. Rides a motorcycle.” I was sold! I kept wanting to know what he was up to and what secrets he was keeping, I was definitely invested.
Jess and William together are just awesome. Their banter was excellent and they definitely have chemistry! They had great conversations, there were some really fun parts (loved their texting) and there were some steamy parts as well. Just like the title says, there is a kiss involved and I could totally feel it. Totally swoon worthy! Can't wait for more from these two.
Loved the connections to other books, that always makes me smile. I just found it all highly entertaining and I loved all the movie references as well. Bring on Stars in Their Eyes!!!

This story starts out intense and pretty much stayed that way the entire time. There was a good build the first half laying out Tyler and Danny’s past and what was going on in the present and it was just in-your-face-real. This is not your typical happily go lucky story, it's gritty and intense and stressed me out a bit. These characters have had a horrific life filled with pain, violence, and drugs. I felt so sad for all the characters and wanted them to be okay.
Tyler and Danny's relationship spans years and them reconnecting was intense and heart wrenching and sweet all rolled into one. This is mainly told from Tyler's POV but there are some sections that are more from Danny's, set up like fairy tale. I really liked that edition and perspective to the story. I do think they came together a bit too easy relationship wise however and even though the entire story had this intensity and suspense to it, I thought there would have been a bit more drama at the end. There were a few sex scenes and I thought it was the right amount considering the content and length of the story.
I like how it was laid out and everything came together but it seemed almost to fast paced. The end was great. That last little bit had me stressing out and then whew, all was well. It was really sweet actually and I felt totally relieved.
Intense story with messed up characters. A real life dark fairly tale!

Loved this! It made me so happy to read. It was full of everything I adore: funny and sexy with great characters! I was hooked from the very beginning!
I loved Liese and Ryder's animosity so much. That sexual tension and banter that was created was fantastic. It made it playful and fun and hot! You could feel their heat! Liese and Ryder together when it came to the sexy, just DAMN and OH MY THAT WAS HOT! I just had this incredible feeling of anticipation while reading, I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.
I loved Liese. She was adventurous and could really stand up for herself when she needed to. I like that she fought off what she was feeling for so long and her internal dialogue was great. And Ryder. Oh my. Loved him. So much. Loved! He had this formal quietness but you could tell there was so much more there. When he was sweet and caring I adored it. I can't stress their chemistry enough. The two of them wanting each other was like having cake in front of you but not being able to eat it, but you want it so bad you can practically taste it - it was fantastic!
I enjoyed all the other characters and interactions, the build and how the story was laid out was fantastic. Her friend Marisa was great and I thought it was awesome that she was such a pro at photoshop (so funny!)! I also liked Liese’s parents a lot and Ryder meeting them for the first time was priceless. I liked that there was drama created with someone from Liese’s past as well, it kept it interesting but it wasn't over the top.
This was a an excellent and solid read. Great pacing and build. Loved that animosity and chemistry, there was just a great dynamic between Liese and Ryder and I felt really pulled in and enjoyed every second. That being said, as much as I loved Ryder, I wish I would have had more details about him, to know him better and to know why he ticked the way he did. That might be me being selfish too because I loved him and couldn't get enough.
Fun, refreshing, sexy and HOT HOT HOT!

Megan and Becker where excellent characters with this instant, incredible chemistry. They connected on so many different levels and even when they fight to stay away from one another there is still this magnetic pull. It was awesome! There were all these innuendos and banter between the two of them and it was so flirty and fun, I loved it. There were some really sweet moments but there was a lot of sexual tension and build up as well.
I really liked Megan, she was strong and independent with a good head on her shoulders. Becker is definitely a new book boyfriend, so sweet and sexy. Together they were the perfect match and I enjoyed their story and how everything developed. This story is told from both of their POV’s (which I love!) and it was great getting inside their heads. There were emotional times as well since they both had past issues they were dealing with and I really enjoyed those more in depth moments.
About the hotness… this book was so incredibly off-the-charts-hot that at one point I had to put it down and walk away. Just wow! Steamy, passionate, and combustible. Seriously sizzling!!!
I really liked Megan's brother Travis and the connection that the two of them shared. He was sweet and cocky all rolled into one and was a guy I wanted to know more about. I would love to see him get his own story.
I thought this was a solid read, it had great development, and an excellent pace. Lauren Blakely does an amazing job balancing out all the different elements within the story. The sweet and the fun, the emotional moments and the passion, they all came together perfectly. Definitely a 5 star read for me!

Not even going to lie, I am instantly in love with Jack. Hot and flirty and commanding. I cannot wait to find out more about him. And Michelle, I have always liked her but in this introduction of the two together, she seems so much more than I realized and I love the strong, confident woman she is. She also has a naughty side to her that was awesome to see. The two together were so great, oh my with the innuendo! I just loved that back and forth banter and playfulness. It was Jack Henry and Laurelyn with their tension and turmoil and I was really into it. Then some small things started to stand out to me and by chapter 14, while I was liking the overall storyline I was ready for more.
The main characters back and forth was getting old and drawn out, everything seemed way to easy, and sometimes them speaking to one another went from playful banter to borderline juvenile. I loved their growing relationship and connection in the first book and was missing it in this one, I didn't feel like there was a lot of depth. I really enjoyed the first book and as much as I hate to compare books, this one seemed to decline for me and I did not enjoy it as much. There was more light drama but everything seemed too easily solved. Things that were a major issue before with Laurelyn just seemed to be glossed over. Maybe they'll come back around in book three?
I like books with sexy times in them but I want it to make sense in the story and I didn’t always feel that with this one. I also thought some of the things Jack Henry and Laurelyn said during these times were odd. Their sex talk and some of the descriptive words were just off putting to me. Maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood to read it.
I really enjoyed the beginning but the rest just falls into the "good read" category for me....more

I was pulled in by the characters “first meeting” but once I figured out what was going on I felt I thought this was a good read and I was intrigued. I was pulled in by the characters “first meeting” but once I figured out what was going on I felt like I was missing something. I was interested in Brooke and Jett's relationship and wanted to know more but I don't feel like I learned a lot. There were all these little things that were taking place and I was really curious about them and had a lot of questions. Brooke has some serious trust issues and seems to be keeping a lot from Jett. She questions herself and her thoughts on Jett a lot. I thought Jett was interesting but I don’t feel like I learned much about him.
I haven’t read the previous series (and was told I didn’t need to for this spin-off) and there was a lot of recapping in this book to catch me up on Brooke and Jett’s relationships but I kept thinking I needed to go back and read the Surrender Trilogy to get a better feel for them.
There wasn't a lot of development and it was a bit slow in the middle but I was still really curious about them and what was going to happen. The end really picked up and had me on the edge of my seat – it’s what pushed me over the edge and made this a 3 star review for me. I finally felt Brooke's anxiety and felt invested. I want to know what Jett is up to. It does end on a cliffhanger. I was invested enough and am curious enough that I will continue on to book two, The Lover's Game.

I really liked Cade and Hannah a lot. They had an interesting first meeting and I liked getting to know more about them. They were fun and flirty and I loved their interactions and banter. They have a slow build in their relationship but it was great to see their friendship and attraction grow. I loved the sexual tension and innuendo, that was fun! They both had past issues to overcome and it was sad learning about them and I understood why they were so cautious as they moved forward. It was really nice to see them open up and let their guard down.
I loved Cade with his sisters. When they're all together they were entertaining fun. I found myself looking forward to those scenes. His sisters were sweet and supportive and I like the connection they all shared.
I liked the overall story line and where it was going but I thought it had a slow start and was bit drawn out. The pacing was slightly off for me. There was a little drama towards the end which was nice to have. Good imagery and descriptions throughout. I was kind of bummed that Cade and Hannah hadn’t progressed more in their relationship by the end of the book but that gives me something to look forward to with the next book, One Funeral.
All in all, I thought it was a really excellent start to the series with interesting and likable characters. It was a sweet story about learning to trust again and moving forward.

This intriguing and mysterious story has totally gotten under my skin. There were so many elements and details learned about Colin and Lucy. More than once did I think, “wait? what!” But I kept on reading and absorbing everything, wanting to know what would happen with them. You could see all these dots getting connected - it was a trip! There was a slow build to the end, which left me feeling lost and sad and even a little confused.
I loved that it was dual POV so you’re in Colin and Lucy’s heads trying to understand and make sense of their logic. There are moments of teenage angsts and their pull and attraction to one another was crazy and slightly scary.
Pacing wise it was decent. The first 100 pages seemed to fly by but after that I felt like it dragged a bit. The last half was a bit more gripping and had me anxious with all the details coming to light.
It was all just kind of trippy and haunting. Definitely a story that makes you think and sticks with you. I liked it a lot but it leaves me with a “what the heck did I just read” eerie feeling. Be prepared for an otherworldly ride.

I truly loved it! It was so them and it was their perfect conclusion. I am so happy!!! This is one of my favorite series ever.
This story was playful and hot right from the start! Clay and Julia still have this almost infectious chemistry that make them one of my all time favorite couples. This story is fun and flirty and there's definitely some dirty talking. Clay has a way with words but I have always loved that Julia can hold her own in that department. These characters have grown so much. They’re so open, carrying, so very loving, and have an amazing connection.
I loved that there was an added element of mystery with this story, it added just the right amount of intrigue and drama. This story is told from multiple POV's and I loved that we got to see what the whack job villain was thinking too. It was this extra bonus that kept me on the edge of my seat. A few cross over characters were mentioned (a personal favorite of mine) but I was thrilled to get to meet Clay’s brother Brent. He was awesome, so laid back, and friendly. I'm excited that he gets his own story.
Let's talk about the sexcapades shall we… holy panty melting hotness!!! Lauren Blakely sure knows how to build up to the sexy times that's for sure. I love that Clay and Julia are so open and adventurous (who knew pearls could be so sexy!). What’s crazy (in a good way!) is that in the middle of all the heat, passion and chemistry there is so much love and sweetness. I got goose bumps!
The ending... I don't do spoilers but I will say I thought it was perfect and very them and I LOVED how it all played out. It went from hot, to a moment of tension, to shear happiness. I may have gotten teary eyed at one point. Loved it!
I thought I got my conclusion in After This Night but this story filled a space that I didn’t realize was missing until I read it... if that makes any sense at all. Hands down the Seductive Nights series is one of my favorites this year and One More Night was like icing on the cake. As a bonus, the Purple Snow Globe Recipe is included too – nice touch! ;-) 5 scorching hot pearls!!!

There were such interesting and complex characters throughout. The whole dynamic of who likes who and the build was amazing. That build killed me too because Gavin and Emily's pull towards one another was so intense. Loved their chemistry!
Gavin wasn't the stereotypical rich guy to me. He had so much depth and I loved how he and Emily's relationship evolved and how persistent he was. So many thing with him just made me catch my breath and completely fall in love with him. I was neutral on Emily for about half the book, trying to figure her out, and then bam! I got it. I really liked her and felt for her. I'm not sure what else to say without spoiling anything but I get how and why she ended up making the choices she made. Dillon… talk about a character that makes your skin crawl. For as much as I loathed him, I thought he was really well written because he elicited all these emotions from me.
I thought the story was well developed, everything flowed nicely, and I really liked all the secondary characters. They all made sense and were well written. This story is told from third person and I really enjoyed it. It's was nice knowing what both Emily and Gavin were thinking throughout.
The end. Excuse me while I sit in the corner crying since my heart has been ripped out of my chest… cliffhanger! This book had me anxiety ridden and stressing out. It got under my skin and made me want for these people, hope for them, and cry for them. This book had me completely wrapped up and emotionally invested.
I fell in love, I got twisted up, and my heart got broken.
