I loved the different realms and politics, the rich history and details, and the incredible world-building and character growth. I adored these fated mates. There’s an instant connection between Aleksei and Laura, and I loved the pull and chemistry between them. I hurt for Laura and what she was going through, I could feel all her emotions and pain. Aleksei was charming and completely swoon-worthy as well as determined, and I loved his pursuit of Laura. As they came together, it was intense, sweet, and smoking hot! Entwined with Aleksei and Laura's growing relationship, there are dangers lurking, and I loved how it was woven together, layers were peeled back, and connections were made. It was all very exciting! They faced ups and downs, tempers flared, dragons flew, and I loved every second of the wild ride as they worked through it all.
I was so excited about all the characters introduced throughout the story, they were detailed and well thought out. I loved Laura's girl group and the bonds they have, as well as their found family. I really liked meeting Aleksei's friends, some of whom happen to be princes, and seeing pairings for future stories. I cannot wait to find out who the next couple is! I loved his family as well, they have their own issues happening, but I loved their development and growth.
This was pure KA infused in an all-new fantasy world. I loved the amazing descriptors, the futuristic elements, and how the history of the world was learned throughout, keeping me hooked. There was an exceptional build and development. This book has some length to it, but not once did it feel long to me. It was just one thrilling thing after another with twists and turns that kept me turning the page and invested, and I was always looking forward to what was next. It was intense, drama-filled, emotional, heartwarming, and sweet. This was truly brilliant storytelling!

I loved everything about Harlow and Javi. I loved watching them circle each other and come together, and the development as their layers were peeled back. I adore this world and found family, how the Angels and Hottie Squad have each other's backs and the bonds they share. There were so many special relationships and they made my heart feel full. There was drama and emotion and heat… all these stellar moments that made my belly flip. The entertainment value was off the charts! Avenging Angel: Tenderfoot is officially a favorite!
Harlow and Javi were amazing! I loved learning about them and their lives, I hurt for Harlow and the strained relationship she had with her family, and my heart broke for Javi about his upbringing, some of it gutted me. I loved their walls coming down and them connecting and how they were there for one another with the drama coming at them, and the growth they experienced, it was emotion-filled. Harlow was kick-butt in her own right and I loved seeing that strength from her. Together, Javi and Harlow had off-the-charts chemistry with playful flirting and banter that built into an undeniable passion that I couldn’t get enough of. There were so many great moments between them and I felt every single one. Harlow was sunshiny positive that was a ray of light to Javi's dark. He was a totally protective alpha, and I was there for it.
The Angels were the best! I adored getting more of their personalities and seeing potential pairings with the Hottie Squad. I’m eager for what’s to come. I really liked the mission the women were on, finding clues, and going up against the Hottie Squad, who were determined to keep them safe. I loved getting more from Tex, he always brings the goodness that makes me smile. Add in Tito, Shirleen, surprise visits from others, a few new characters, and I was beyond thrilled with everything that was happening. I was excited to see some new Angels and Hotties being introduced. I was ecstatic to see one in particular (Chaos fans are going to be thrilled). It was all awesome!
This is one of those times that real life got in the way of my reading fun and I did not like having to adult. This was seriously entertaining and exciting, and I loved it all. I am madly in love with the Avenging Angels series, but this one holds a special place in my heart!
I can't begin to tell you how much I loved The Woman Left Behind. I adored Harry and Lillian! I loved the mystery as it unfolded and all the building I can't begin to tell you how much I loved The Woman Left Behind. I adored Harry and Lillian! I loved the mystery as it unfolded and all the building clues. I loved the different families and bonds, and seeing favorites from other books in this series. This was a fantastic addition to the Misted Pines world, and I already can't wait for the next one.
I loved Lillian! I hurt for her as I learned about her past, but loved her inner strength and what a big heart she had. I have loved Harry since book one, but now I love him even more. He was good to his core, a protective man with a heart of gold, he made me swoon. They had a sweet build to their relationship. Some parts were light and fun in the beginning and it brought some entertaining moments in the middle of all that was going on with Lillian. They had fantastic chemistry and I loved the pull between them. I adored Harry and Lillian sharing and being vulnerable and all the emotion it created, and I loved how Harry put it all out there with no games. There was an exceptional build to the heat, I couldn’t wait for these two to get together. I loved the healing Lillian experienced and how Harry was really living again. These two were perfect together!
There was an intriguing suspense element in place related to a cold case and I was all in as clues were building and connections were made. There was a low level of intensity that had me on the edge of my seat as it all played out. I liked learning about the different types of corruption that had previously taken place as Harry worked to clean up the sheriff’s department, and how some of it tied together. I loved how the romantic suspense and the feel of contemporary romance blended together, making it exciting to read with an excellent build.
I loved the characters of Misted Pines. From favorites from other stories to meeting new ones, there was a wonderful sense of found family and friendships, support, and love. I couldn’t get enough of those bonds and camaraderie, and the heartfelt scenes they helped to create. I was thrilled to get more Jace and Jesse, and Stormy, I would love for them all to get a book.
I love how Kristen Ashley tells a story, how I feel pulled in and a part of the world. With this book, I felt hooked from the start. I felt the intensity of the mystery and the emotion as Harry and Lillian came together. I couldn't wait for Harry to get his happily ever after and I was not disappointed. This was truly a remarkable read and it's safe to say it's my favorite in the series so far!

I felt like I was in a chokehold as it all unfolded, and I loved the way it broke me down a bit and built me back up. Within minutes I could feel this would be a five-star read and from there it exceeded my expectations. SIX STARS!
I loved meeting Hugger and learning about him, he was the perfect mix of alpha, bossy, sweet, and protective. I felt so much for him as he worked through things from his past and I was filled with anticipation to learn about his connection to Chaos. I adored Diana and how deeply she loved and took care of people, and how hardworking and determined she was. I liked learning her history even though some of it was hard. There were so many wonderful scenes and interactions as they got to know each other and fall in love, it was the perfect blend of emotional and entertaining.
I thought this was a well-developed story with a fantastic build that had me hanging on every word. There were a lot of things happening, dramas unfolding, and emotional moments playing out. I loved all the different characters, connections, and cameos, seeing the bonds of the brotherhood and found families. I loved learning more about Big Petey, he's been such a presence in the Chaos series so I was thrilled that I really got to see what an amazing man he was with all the wisdom he shared. I also loved his relationship with Hugger and why he worked to bring him into the Chaos fold. I love the Wild West MC universe and seeing the different MCs working together as well as favorites from other series. I’m excited about where it all could go, the possibilities are endless.
There was some foreshadowing happening in the beginning so I was bracing for what was to come. I was glad I did because, by the time I got to the epilogue, I was a sobbing mess even though it was absolutely beautiful and touching. From the relationship that Hugger and Diana had to the love of all the brothers, and dealing with the drama surrounding them, as well as healing and loss, this was all brilliant. There were so many poignant moments throughout full of meaning, that I got choked up several times. Hands down this is a new favorite!

They were like extra icing on an already perfect cake. The Rock Chick series is one of my all-time favorites, so I was thrilled to learn more content would be added and Kristen Ashley did not disappoint.
It was fantastic to reconnect with so many favorite characters, plus a few I hadn’t anticipated. Lee, Eddie, Hank, Vance (and of course Boo), Luke, Mace, Hector, Ren, Marcus, and Moses each brought their own sweet and heartwarming perspectives, and I loved what they shared. I might have gotten choked up a time or two because they were each so incredible and made me feel all the things.
While some of the bonus epilogues are longer than others, each one adds something special to their corresponding book and the entire series. I’m so happy the author decided to put them in one volume and I can’t wait to add the paperback to my collection. As a long-time fan of KA, this edition absolutely thrilled me!...more

I eased into the story and loved learning about Riggs and Nadia, the mysteries that were happening, and immersing myself in their lives. It was exciting, emotional, and heartfelt.
I loved learning about Nadia and Riggs. I felt so much for Nadia as I learned about her past. I loved her growth throughout the story and the healing she experienced. I loved Riggs and his no-nonsense attitude and how he was there for her. They had a rocky start but it quickly started to become more. I loved them getting to know one another and learning about their histories, why Riggs was holding back, and the development of their relationship. I liked their chemistry, the bits of emotion shared as their guards came down, and watching them come together in the midst of what was going on around them.
There were a lot of smaller stories woven in and I like how they were all intertwined. Riggs has a sweet son and an over-the-top ex, a best friend that means well but doesn't always make the right choices, Nadia has the mystery of her cabin to contend with as well as dealing with a loss… plus a few other things because there was definitely weird stuff happening. There's mild drama, emotion, and a lot of heart and I enjoyed it all. I loved the mystery aspect when it came to her cabin and I liked learning all the details. I liked everything presented but it wasn't too deep, just really good, solid stories that were easily resolved with great conclusions.
I was caught up in everything and had a hard time putting it down. I thought this was an addicting read with a high entertainment value. I liked the characters, development, and details, and thought the story moved at a good pace with a great build. I enjoyed the suspense element, it wasn’t too gritty or intense but I liked the mystery I got and how it was flushed out. I had a great time reading it!

This story was equal parts entertaining and emotional, it was fantastic! To say this was one of my most anticipated reads of the year is an understatement and it was totally worth the wait. From the Avenging Angels to the Hottie Squad and all the goodness in between, this was an amazing read.
I loved getting to know both Jess and Eric and learning about the hard things that had happened in their lives. I loved Jess’s deep love for her brother, her mission to find him, and how Eric was all in to help her. He was so protective and I loved all the ways he looked out of her. These two had off the chart’s chemistry that sizzled. I loved the push and pull between them as they navigated their feelings. I felt for Jess and why she held back but I liked how Eric shared the honesty and she slowly started to trust him and open up. There were so many sweet, sexy, flirty moments between them but also deep emotional ones as well. It was filled with so many great scenes, it was all incredible.
I loved the Avenging Angels! These women were smart, strong, and loyal and I loved how they leaned on one another and their mission. I loved the Hottie Squad and how they were all in to help. Thanks to all of them, there were a lot of entertaining scenes that had me smiling. I also loved getting more Clarice and am thrilled she's become such a badass in her own right. I adored the relationship Jess had with a man named Homer and all the healing happening with her brother. I loved seeing favorites from the original Rock Chick series and when someone from the Hot Bunch or Rock Chicks was brought in, I was ecstatic. I love Tito and Tex together, those two are quite the pair. I also loved several new characters that were introduced and brought into the fold. I'm excited about some pair-ups that were hinted at and can’t wait for more stories in this series.
The storytelling was wonderful and the build was excellent. The more I read, the more hooked I was, and the more excited I got. A great mystery and suspense element was happening that I enjoyed, I really liked all the hints and I loved how it played out. I love the familiarity the author gave me with the Rock Chick vibes but it felt new and fresh thanks to this next generation. The first book, Avenging Angel, felt like I was coming home. This book made me feel like I was being wrapped in a cozy blanket so I could stay awhile. This was a 5-star read for me. I highly recommend it!

I love how Kristen Ashley always makes me feel like I'm a part of these characters' lives, right there with them, feeling it all.
I loved Jamie and Nora and really getting to know them. Nora is rich and owns it but she's also all class and has the biggest heart and is good to her core. I loved her! I adored Jamie, he's the perfect combination between old school and modern and I love how deeply he cared for others. I felt for him because of the losses he's suffered and the drama with his father, so I was incredibly happy that he finally had goodness coming his way. I loved learning about Nora and Jamie’s friendship and just how far back it went, and watching that bond and their attraction grow into so much more. I loved the bonds and strength of their family and friends and how they’re all there for one another. I loved the relationship that Nora formed with Jamie's daughter Dru and I loved Jamie getting to know Nora's kids. I loved the updates on other couples, what's going on in their lives, and the hints of what might be brewing between a possible couple. I also liked getting small bits of Corey and Rhys since they are very much a part of this series.
There were great building details, development, and different levels of drama and it all kept me hooked. I loved all the dots connecting. There were also several fun moments and humor woven in just when I needed some levity. This was a fantastic story filled with an outpouring of love and emotion that made my heart feel full. I loved Jamie and Nora finding their way to one another and embracing their love. All the healing and acceptance was a beautiful thing. Another five-star read from my favorite author!

Daphne was fantastic. I liked her strength and curiosity and I felt for her and the position she was in with her family. Ian was charismatic and protective and had a powerful yet calming presence. I loved Daphne and Ian’s interactions and the chemistry between them. They had the best back-and-forth dialogue and wit. I loved the build to their relationship, it was sweet and honest. I could feel the emotion between them in the middle of this intense situation as they started to open up and become vulnerable. When they finally got to that moment when they truly connected, it was explosive perfection.
There is a mystery afoot at Duncroft House and it completely captivated me. My eyes flew across the page as details were revealed, things were pieced together, and questions arose. Duncroft House has a rich and complicated history and I loved the drama of it all. I loved learning about past family members, the hardships, and the trysts and twists. I loved how this was set up, going between past and present, I was excited and full of anticipation waiting for time to catch up and to get to the present day. The build was fantastic! I really liked getting the ins and outs of Darius and Malia’s relationship, learning their history and all they went through. They had this push and pull between them filled with love and passion, and I couldn’t get enough. I felt for Malia and loved how strong she was and how determined she was to do everything she could for their son. My heart broke for Darius and his sacrifices to do what he thought was right for them and his family. This had so many poignant moments and important details and I ate it up. I loved Raye immediately, she was a shining light. I loved learning her history and what drove her. I loved her and her best friend Luna and learning about all their crazy antics, they were so entertaining. I loved Cap, seeing the man he’s become, and learning about his life. He's his own brand of alpha and a total badass! I always thought he was great, but 15 years later, Sniff is all grown up and he’s absolutely book-boyfriend material. I loved how Raye and Cap met, their instant connection and undeniable chemistry, and the development of their relationship. It was heartfelt, real, sexy, and sweet.
I love this whole new world that's been introduced and all of Raye’s crew, as well as the men in the Phoenix branch. There is definitely more to come and I have questions about some things that have been set up for future stories and people, I cannot wait to find out!
As a longtime fan of the original series (which I have read countless times!), I had unrealistically high expectations for this spinoff. Kristen Ashley exceeded every single one of them! This world and the characters in it have grown and changed because years have passed and the world itself is different now, and I adore what it has become. This was a fantastic series starter and an awesome spinoff. It was outright fun, entertaining, and heartwarming, filled with love, healing, and growth. I loved it all! Hale and Elsa were everything! I loved the details, the depth, all the amazing characters, and the build to an incredible ending. I was so excited to read this book and it did not disappoint.
I loved Elsa to her core. I liked her strength, integrity, and how hard she worked to make her dreams come true. I have loved Hale since the start of the series, he’s protective and low-key alpha and good to his soul but he had his demons. I loved how Hale and Elsa clashed in the beginning and the animosity between them. Underneath it all, you could feel that building attraction and sexual tension. I loved Elsa’s attitude and how she didn't roll over and do whatever Hale wanted, she challenged him. I loved when their walls started to come down and they really opened up. I could feel these small emotional breaks growing in Hale and I hurt for him. I was filled with so much anticipation waiting for things to boil over for him and when it finally happened, it was intense and painful. While there was a lot of emotion, there was also a good bit of drama, playful moments, and some super-hot ones too. Those lighter, fun scenes were super entertaining and helped to really round out the story.
I loved learning about Hale’s complicated relationship with his dad from both of their viewpoints. I loved the emotion as memories aligned for Hale and as he struggled with others. I loved feeling like I really got to know Corey and understand his actions and choices, some of his whys were heartbreaking. I loved all the characters involved in this story and enjoyed getting to see more of those relationships and bonds that I have come to know and love in the series. There were a lot of great moments that had me choking up. I loved seeing the fatherly side of Tom with Hale and getting hints about Jamie and Nora. There were so many great snippets of other characters including the very intriguing Rhys Vaughn that has me excited about what is to come in the series.
I love a story that makes me feel and this one definitely had me on an emotional rollercoaster. Hale and Elsa were wonderful characters who were flawed and real. This story was sweet and painful, and heart-wrenching and beautiful all rolled into one. I loved the pace, and how it really built and pulled me in, I felt captivated the entire time. I loved all the healing, love, hope, and found families. It felt like this story broke me a bit and then built me back up. I loved Tom, he was sweet and caring and I felt for him despite the wrong choice he previously made. I loved learning his thoughts and feelings about the guilt he carried and the responsibility he took. It was a complicated situation but I liked how it played out in this fictional story. I adored Mika, she was strong and resilient, like a shining light I was drawn to. I liked Tom and Mika meeting and learning about their friendship. There were a lot of feelings and emotions happening for Mika and I hung on every word as I learned her history and pain, about her daughter and her art. This story was spot on for me, from the characters to the hope, healing, and love. There were some adorable kittens in the mix that made me melt too. I enjoyed the smaller storyline that initially brought Tom and Mika back together, I liked the extra drama it created. I loved the layers and descriptions, and I was always looking forward to what was going to happen next. This was an exceptional addition to the series!...more

It was an emotion-fiPerfect Together was a beautiful, raw, and real story filled with heart-wrenching moments, healing, and love and I adored it all. It was an emotion-filled second chance romance about wonderful, strong-willed, and broken characters and their journey of reconnecting, facing hard truths, and coming out on the other side. I found it completely captivating and thought it was a fantastic read.
I really liked learning about Wyn and Remy. I felt like I was thrown into their turmoil and pain right from the start. I hurt for them and rooted for them as bit by bit we learn why Remy made the choices he did, what happened in the in-between while they were apart, and the steps Remy had to take to fix his mistakes. It was hard to learn some of his truths but I loved how Wyn and their kids were there for him with their unconditional love. Wyn had some difficult things of her own that she was dealing with and I liked how she tried to work through that situation. I loved Wyn and Remy’s chemistry together and their deep and passionate love.
I really enjoyed the details and layers as the story developed and I felt completely invested in Remy and Wyn’s lives. There was a lot of good, low-key drama throughout that added a nice amount of tension. I felt the focus was more on emotion with real, poignant moments and messy life situations. I could feel the rawness of it all vibrating through me as I read. There were a lot of different things happening, it went places I was not expecting but I absolutely enjoyed it. I adored the bonds the family had and how they were all there for one another. There were a lot of fun moments happening as well thanks to Wyn’s friend group. They created some entertaining scenes which brought a nice amount of levity when needed.
In the end, it filled me with a feeling of hope and love because Remy and Wyn came out on the other side and found their way back together. I love a story that makes me feel and this story did just that. It was a heck of a ride and I enjoyed it all!
The Girl in the Woods was an exciting, thrilling, and passionate read! I loved the characters, the intensity, the slow-burn romance, and the suspense The Girl in the Woods was an exciting, thrilling, and passionate read! I loved the characters, the intensity, the slow-burn romance, and the suspense element that was playing out. This had a fantastic build that had me hooked right until the end. Amazing read!
I loved Rus so much. I was pulled into his anguish and was completely invested. He was such a good guy that worked hard and was incredibly perceptive. Lucinda was a loving and caring force that was in charge and owns who she is. I loved all the details about their past and the build to learning those histories. I liked their connection and the subtle flirting happening between them. They had a lot of wonderful moments from sweet and emotional to fiery and hot. I loved the progress of their relationship, it was subtle in a way, but very much present, making the moment when they really connect that much more intense.
I loved the mystery! I liked all the details about the Crystal Lake Killer and how everything developed, I also really enjoyed what was going on in Misted Pines and how it all connected. It was twisted and a very hard subject matter was talked about, the crimes done were brutal and sadistic. It's detailed but I didn’t feel it was overly graphic. I loved the development and hints as everything was pieced together. By the time the conclusion came around, I was on the edge of my seat. The ending was fantastic!
The secondary characters were incredibly well done. I liked how the characters from the first book were integrated and getting more of their personalities. I loved getting more of Harry the sheriff, he’s such a strong presence that draws me in. I would love for this man to get his own story. There's even a connection to one of my favorite KA series and I was beyond thrilled. I was literally cheering when all those dots connected.
This was a well-told story with a great flow and excellent descriptions. I found it to be incredibly consuming. I thought the romance balanced well and liked that there wasn't a ton of drama surrounding Rus and Lucinda’s relationship, that goodness was saved for the mystery aspect. If you want intense suspense combined with a beautiful romance, then I highly recommend The Girl in the Woods!
