England 1682, at the time of King Charles the 2nd.
This had a good hero + sexy times but the heroine
was a downer.

Rachel stole Stephen's horse to rescue her younger
sister from a baddie who may/may not have engaged
in treason? Stephen was a Royal Elite agent for the
Crown, charged w/ finding a stolen document related
to possible treason.

Rachel acted immature and engaged in drama & lies.
Was she capable of telling the truth? She 2nd and 3rd
guessed everything. Enough! She took unnecessary,
dangerous actions. Stephen deserved a lady w/ more
maturity.

Lauren Hate when a bad h ruins a good book! I'm reading the 1st book in the series right now. So far I like the h but she is mute so that helps 😉

HR-ML Lauren---

Do you like the book so far?

Lauren I'm still at the beginning so it's hard to say.

HR-ML Fair enough. Thanks as always.
