4.5 stars rounded up!!!

4.5 cus I wrote this book in a 24-day-delerium and there are still moments in these pages that I, the author, distrust! A healthy skepticism, you might say!! The idea for this book has been hiding somewhere in my head for years, plucking small bits of inspiration out of my eyes, drawing them up into its web, crafting something in my subconscious that took me very much by surprise when it suddenly SPRANG FORTH and scared the dandelions out of me. I love this book, I'm proud of it, but do I trust it? No! I did my best to lock down a monster in all these words, but as you'll see it takes just a single trailing strand for a creature like this to slowly rebuild its web. Be vigilant, dear reader, and don't look TOO long. You never know what will look back!!!

Marieke (mariekes_mesmerizing_books) Love this review, Ryan! And loved the story!

Scriptmonkey While I think any writer completing a novel is a wonderful accomplishment, seeing the author give themselves a 5-star review confirms my suspicion that 5-star reviews are not to be trusted. Points for not hiding behind a pseudonym to do it, though.

Samantha Screamed when I was suprised with recieving my preorder today. Could not be more excited!!!!!!

Dacy Myers I have been awaiting this for probably 9 months now!!! I'm so excited to read it!!!

Oh i don't think this is quite fair, but I do understand the reaction. I'll just say that you absolutely don't need to take my review into account. It will be (hopefully) just be one of hundreds, maybe thousands, someday if I'm lucky. I can't speak to all those others, I'm sure some will be good because of suspicious reasons and I'm sure many more will be bad because even more suspicious reasons, but there will only ever be one by me, the author. Wherever that leaves your trust, I'll tell you what I tell everyone unsure about books like mine: ask some friends you trust, try a few pages at the bookstore, and always be honest :) I hope this is helpful!

message 6: by Dee (new) - rated it 5 stars

Dee Marie I stumbled on this book completely by accident, and this genre doesn't usually pique my interest. This was so well done, and had I half the imagination and creativity that went into this, I would also give myself 5 stars. No novel is perfect, but this is just so unique. Well done. I hope someday we'll meet up with one of these characters or another part of the elite social crowd from this book.

Jasper (Messed Up) I actually LOVE this book
