Of Snakes and Men
by
It feels like a life time ago since JG introduced us to A: Andres Alcazar, in Navesink Bank’s as the local drug kingpin. We met A in Niro's book. ……. I’ve always wonder if she would give A His own book. Well, she finally did it. And what a book it is.
A: Andres Alcazar know that Greed was a powerful motivator. He knew that personally, coming from nothing. Having to steal and fight for everything. Listening to his mother cry when she thought he was sleeping, but he was awake with a rumbling, empty stomach. He also understood really well how that once you started getting a little money, you were even hungrier for more.
Andres got Somewhat flaxen in his new position in Navesink Bank’s away from the Mexican cartel. So, I guess you can say that Andres was not surprised Find himself in a predicament. He has a snake in his house, slithered along corrupting anyone in its path.…….. so since he didn’t know who he could trust, he Outsource to the local Private investigator
Ok so there are few things that somewhat confuses me in this book is - how Hope works as a private investigator who is one of those type of women that takes -no-prisoners, she is a badass woman who never let anyone even look at her sideways… . But yet, at the same time, she lets her coworkers talk to her like shit. And mind you Hope, she is one of the Princesses, The daughter of a biker from the Henchmen club (OG Henchmen (Remy) , and her mother is a profiler from Hailstorm too
So, with that said, I had difficulty. Reading this book at times, was it a solid 5? No. Was it a solid 4, maybe. So, I was crossed between rating this book as a four or a three. Which was really difficult for me, considering how much I love this author’s writing skills and pretty much all of her books.………
Hell, I can’t believe that I would have to remind anyone how much I love this author’s writing skills after all this time. And how I just love all of the back stories that come along with Navesink Banks…… with just over 50+ books under my belt read ……. Maybe I’m just trying to convince myself that shit happen ….. Anyhow. I’d like to come back to this book later on in the future and reevaluate my opinion on it. So, with that said Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion & my honest review

So many mixed feelings. Hope a revisit helps clearing them out. Sounds like 3 to me, or less. Fair review Paulette!
