5⭐️ Amazing follow-up to book one. Suspenseful, angsty, action-packed, heart-wrenching, and emotional.
The truth is out, Carter knows about the operation that will save thousands of trafficked slaves, and he knows that his brother and Nathan have been lying to him all along. He is gutted and devastated. But he doesn’t even have time to really come to terms with those feelings of betrayal because they still have a dangerous mission to complete.

The trust and relationship between Carter and Nathan (Travis) is broken and feels irreparable. But I love how the author still gives us hope that things will eventually work out between them. I cannot wait to read the final book.
I am so attached to these characters, I’m going to miss them when I’m finished. 🥺🥺😭😭
