Painful and beautiful wrapped in a bow.
From the prologue you learn how horrible Preston's life is. It was amazing to see a touch starved, traumatized man open himself up to being loved.

Preston's dad is so so evil so make sure you read triggers. He's an absolute brutal POS and my heart broke for Preston time and time again.
