As far as contemporary RH goes, this one isn't that bad!!
Solid plot, solid characters, and I guess pretty okay writing.

Okay maybe a little less than okay because there were a lot of these:

“He’ll break you.” I shudder at the implied threat.
“You can’t break what’s already broken,” I tell him.

BLEEEUGHHHHH

and this:

“Why pre-med?”
“I want to help people like me.”
Wanting to dig deeper, I ask, “Like you?”
She looks down at my chest and fiddles with one of the buttons on my shirt. “People who are damaged.”

Character names could've been better. Naming the fmc Syn IS a sin. And Constantine can sometimes be a mouthful to say (this might just be a me problem lol 😞) LOVE the character tho!!

Ik Con is the crowd favorite, and prob Tristan too because he's nice. But I gotta place my vote on Hendrix. He reminds me SO much of Damon Salvatore lol it made me SICK when I realized Hendrix was blond and not the mysterious dark haired Damon I thought he was 😒

But oh boy do they know how to worship lol

Romance could be better I guess, contemporary RH is usually not my thing because they usually do not have a good enough reason to be in a polyamorous relationship, except like extreme lust or something lol

And because of shit like this:

“An electric spark that ignites as soon as he’s near. The bite mark he left pulses with life, and I cover it with my hand.”

In pnr romance/RH that could be romantic because it could be the bond or magic or whatever. In real life tho it kinda sounds like she has a flesh eating bacteria

I also got spoiled but it actually made me enjoy the book more LOLLLLL the romance isn't as cringe in this because of their circumstances.
