Harrison Hyde and the Runaway Bride (The Texas Brand: Generations, #1)

What a fun story. It starts with a bang, enmeshes you in the quirky heroine's life, adds a mystery, and keeps you turning the page. The Brand family is entertaining and charismatic, and the connection they all have with each other is heartwarming. Some of the suspense is a little forced for me, and the hero is a little too befuddled and bemused at times, but this is still an enjoyable and uplifting story. Great start to the series, and I look forward to reading about more of these family members.
