**2.5 stars**

The sexy parts in this book were really hot and I liked the relationship - Logan yearning for her for years and I thought Tara had a right to despise him. However, the suspense plot was so ridiculously over the top that I can't, in all conscience, rate it higher.

In Belong to Me, the characters have to deal with TWO threats: the murderer of Logan's mother who doesn't want Logan and Tara to be together plus the sex-slave ring that Tara is trying to infiltrate by learning how to be a sub and save her best friend. Can you tell how many wrong things you find with that premise?

This plot was so freaking convoluted and everything could have unraveled with a few questions. When the killer threatened Tara's life...why did everybody assume it was about Logan? Didn't anybody wonder why was Tara so special that a killer didn't want her to be with him? They could have found out who he was (or at least have a pretty good idea) within a day if they asked themselves that question.

Then there was Tara telling others about her mission (like FBI stings are supposed to be public knowledge) or the fact that she was entrusted with such an important mission with no experience whatsoever. I mean, I know it's a BDSM book so the author can take some liberties with the suspense part but that doesn't mean the plot should be this crazy!

I'll probably read the next book when I'm in the mood for something hot but hopefully it's not as silly as this one.

seton I dunno, DG. The suspense in SB is always stupid; I thought that was part of the "appeal"?

I don't think it's ever been THIS stupid. And the way things were solved where completely in WTF territory.
