Sweet and tender story with an angsty twist in the end that saved it from sappy-land. Danny and Elliot were so sweet and perfect together, you can't help but read this one with a smile on your face for the most part. Most of my friends here in GR know I don't like sweet, sappy stories, but I always make an exception for M.J. O'Shea's work and she rarely disappoints.

Ele I used to like this author. Her latest work not so much.

Fani *loves angst* I don't think I've even read her latest work or her PNR series. But she's the only one who writes sweet stories and yet I like most of them :) Probably because she always delivers a short dose of angst, to balance things out.

I wanted to try the Macarons at Midnight series, but the title alone makes me think they might be overly sweet. What do you think? Have you read them?

Fani *loves angst* That's why I still hesitate to get them. Will see if I'm feeling adventurous at some time :P
