I am not quitting this book because of the writing quality but because I am just not a fan of some of the tropes in this book - mainly because both leads are too screwed up for me (I can handle one but both of them is too much), I am not a fan of their completely sex based relationship (I know, I am sure this changes eventually but it just leaves me cold), both of the leads are kinda slutty and the biggest issue - the hero is way too hung up on his deceased wife. I just wasn't enjoying it so I decided to cut my losses and quit.

Me too! I don't want the heroine to be second best (even if she is crazy and kind of slutty :p)

Lisa BiB was frustrating. His closed off heart then his mother's shrine...ugh.

I was already pretty sure I was quiting the book so I skimmed to the end and read that part and was very sure I was just done. Blah.
