I'm not big into PNR so although I was excited for this book- I was also terrified it wouldn't be for me. Well, I need not have worried because NR nailed it! What a fan-freaking-tastic vampire story!
-The chemistry between the characters. GAH! The aches when they were apart and the purring! Just the way Cronin and Alec were together!
-Loved the history references.
-The secondary characters.
-Story flow.
-The humor. These two had awesome banter!
-The slow burn was deliciously written.
As for those worried that it is the first book in a series- fret not- this book was nicely wrapped up and simply leaves it open for more.
This was a 5 Star read for me and can't wait for the next book! NR Walker cemented the reason she is an auto-buy for me. No blurb need be read just NR Walker on the cover is enough.
