Don't you just love being pleasantly surprised by a book? Especially when it is free!

As far as mummy porn goes, this was alright. I'm generally not a fan of books where sex is the main focus. But surprisingly, for a huge prude like me, the sexy times were not too cringe. There was a lot of spanking, and way more orgasms than felt natural (unless I've been doing it wrong??). But, there was absolutely no use of 'down there" with relation to the female anatomy. The c-bomb was dropped. A lot. And I have a special kind of love for the c-bomb. Sometimes, no other word is good enough. Eg. Mum, I've had a cunt of a day.

It's natural to compare this book to FSoG, it is literally begging for it. So, here I go.

The MCs - instead of a whiny virgin who can barely speak for herself, we have a strong female MC who unashamedly loves sex,. She knows what she wants and has an interest in exploring her sexual likes and limits, and a main male character who isn't a stalker and doesn't try to control every single aspect of her life. Though he does have a habit of making important decisions for her. But, he doesn't get away with it easily, so I'll let it pass.

There is a fair age gap between the main characters that I know others have been bothered by, though I can't say it bothered me much. I mean, at this point in my life I'd take what I can get.

The beginning of the story was so much a cross between the Devil Wears Prada and Ugly Betty that I found it annoying. But, overall, the story, whilst completely cliched was pretty enjoyable.

Its free. Give it a go.

Eilonwy I know this was written as an "answer" to FSoG, so it is definitely begging to be compared to that!

Ah, okay. I didn't know that. Well, now I feel better about the comparison.

Eilonwy So it's just coincidence that you followed FSoG with this? I bet Abigail Barnette would love that! :)

JAIME LOUISE FSoG was a re-read refresher for the movie, and I only read this because it popped up in on my newsfeed and it was free. So, yeah. Total coincidence.

Eilonwy LOL here, too! Everyone in erotica and romances seems to be doing it better than the rest of us. :D

Sssweetbaby where can i read it for free?

JAIME LOUISE The Kindle version was free via Amazon. I'm not sure if it still is.

Kelly (and the Book Boar) I hated this book, but I love your review. I'm the polar opposite of you with respect to the "C" word being used for sex - but I use it EXCESSIVELY in my day-to-day speaking ; )

And yes to the how many orgasms can one woman have before she just dies from it????? If you're doing it wrong then I am too : (
