What can I say...I am no usually a fan of historical or paranormal and this one is historical and paranormal but I liked it. I think its Ms. Walker's magic touch.

So the vampires...

I enjoyed reading about the vampire history, although I couldn't help but feeling I have read some of it before... but that's ok.

When Cronin finds Alec... Mmmmm. Really loved these two together. The slow burn, the kissing, the purring and the rumbling, the possessiveness. It was actually what made this book work for me. Oh the sweet romance... I'd love more of this in book two please.

And then the unthinkable...

“Alec looked at Cronin. “Four days,” he whispered. Cronin squeezed his hand and swallowed hard. Almost thirteen long and lonely centuries had come down to just a matter of minutes. “It is too soon.”

And the adventure...

And the passion ...

“M’cridhe, m’gràdh, gu brath.”

Words he never thought he’d say, words he never thought he’d feel.

My heart, my love, forever.”

And the twist... *sigh*

Cant wait for the second book.

Recommended to one who enjoys historical paranormal vampire action romances.
