Too Late is a really good book for the way it's written. Published chapter by chapter, it doesn't allow the author to go back on her work & adjust, and for that, i'm impressed.

I loved the read, of course, it's Colleen, hard not to love right? She has a natural way with words and always writes lovely characters. Most importantly, she makes you feel.

With this read though, the bad guy actually stole the show for me. He made me feel the most and towards the end, the main characters fell to the wayside. They were likeable, but well over a quarter was dedicated to the bad guys POV, and i ended up feeling for him much more than the other two. I needed more between them, more scenes, more stolen moments with more intensity. Asa, our bad guy, made me feel so much empathy toward him, no matter how much of a dick he was. And i felt that the heroine should have felt as bad for him as i did.

Fab read, highly recommend, left me craving more.
