Moving, lovable, interesting.
It was a sad, sad read at times, giving the joy and love a kick. This is one hell of a romance, two cute, good and wholesome characters. Good angst, action, drama. The LOT!
Both the hero and heroine were so cute, and they made you feel for them so hard.
I'm gutted it's over, i sped through it like a banshee.

Brilliant second and final instalment to the Sins Duet. It was perfectly dark, emotional and action filled with an explosive ending.
I kind of felt the show was stolen during the second half, Javier really took the crown by turning out to be the most interesting character; he has such a big and multi-faceted personality, it's really hard not to be enthralled with his scenes over everyone elses.
Thoroughly enjoyed these books! I hope to hear from Javier's right hand man in a future book!
Black Hearts is a spin-off from the Sins & Needles Trilogy, but also heavily features our favourite Halle trio; Elle, Camden and Javier as the Montague's and Capulet's of our hero and heroine. It almost feels like a #3.5.
Not as action based or as fast paced as S&Ns, but a mixture of a broody and beautiful read. The hero - Javier's son - is the perfect mix of dark with messed up morals and a huge romantic side. Our heroine - Elle's daughter - is dark like him too, but delicate at the same time.
It was an overall winner, with deep romance, dark themes, two likeable and very interesting leads as well as being set with a beautiful backdrop. I love how the book kept me guessing as to what is going to happen next.

I was definitely invested here, the writing flowed and everything unravelled beautifully. There was a point in the middle where i couldn't really tell whether i liked the heroine or not. And because of her juivenille mannerisms, and the heroes poetic knowledge, they felt on different levels of intelligence. But they were still pretty sweet together.

A top-notch erotic romance read. My favourite by Tessa Bailey so far!
Disorderly Conduct begins with two lovers who fear commitment. The hero turns into an alpha male who also becomes a crazy romantic. Literally, crazy for the heroine and it was totally adorable and funny. The heroine had a heart of gold, and was a pretty cool chick.
Not only did it kick ass in the romance department, but if you've read any Tessa Bailey books before, you know you're in for some super hot sex scenes and fabulous dirty talk.
The only thing i felt, is that the characters needed to be a bit older in order for it to feel right regarding their sexual pasts. They seem to feel like they've been doing what they have for a while not less than a handful of years.
For an erotic romance, this was certainly one of the best i've read, so i'm giving it a 5 star....more

There's little to no interaction between the leads but i preservered and it was sooooo worth it.
Those 100 pages, the set up, i realised just made the rest of the book so much better. There's a lot of friendship, a bit of wit, some drama and angst, topped off with a bit of hotness and two awesome-cool characters.

Too Late is a really good book for the way it's written. Published chapter by chapter, it doesn't allow the author to go back on her work & adjust, and for that, i'm impressed.
I loved the read, of course, it's Colleen, hard not to love right? She has a natural way with words and always writes lovely characters. Most importantly, she makes you feel.
With this read though, the bad guy actually stole the show for me. He made me feel the most and towards the end, the main characters fell to the wayside. They were likeable, but well over a quarter was dedicated to the bad guys POV, and i ended up feeling for him much more than the other two. I needed more between them, more scenes, more stolen moments with more intensity. Asa, our bad guy, made me feel so much empathy toward him, no matter how much of a dick he was. And i felt that the heroine should have felt as bad for him as i did.
Fab read, highly recommend, left me craving more....more
I enjoyed the read and the trip it took me on. The difficulty, and my deduction of a star comes down to the trope of student/teacher BDSM. I think it must've been very hard for Godwin to pull off something unique whilst using an overdone trope. I ended up falling into a few holes that made me roll my eyes; like his parents knowing his bedroom antics, the ex, the fuckbuddy...
That said, there were many things that was distinctly unique and really enjoyable to read. The – many - sex scenes were scorching hot with vivid imagery, the hero was wicked, clever and damn if he didn't make me melt a few times. I loved our heroine when she got feisty, and i felt for her so much.
I was wary when I realised that the heroine was going from domestic & sexual abuse only to be in a BDSM relationship, but Godwin wrote that really well too. It was laden with emotional & mental understanding of the characters choices & turn ons.
So apart from a bit of cheese here and there, some things that were unneeded and made for eye-rolls, the book was a good one and fought it's way to becoming immensely enjoyable with an epic-love story.

Commodity is sci-fi/dystopian romance with a setting that is along the lines of The Hunger Games & Independence Day. It's jam packed with action, there's never a dull moment.
I loved this book! It's unique, gritty, romantic. There's some very dark parts; death, rape, slavery.. They really added to the impact of this newly dystopian world.
Despite my rating, there is some discrepancies. Some things felt overly coincidental or a bit off; (view spoiler)[the fact that her sister was kidnapped by the same people the h was testifying against, for a different reason. That two guys from said people had survived the invasion. How did the men just standing in the field survive when all the men except those underground died? (hide spoiler)]
Even through those faults, I still loved it. You're going to have to suspend some disbelief for this one.
Savage wrote awesome hero, as always, she spoiled us with action, gave us a bit of humour and sexiness, and topped it off with something different. 4.5 STARS for a book that kept me hooked and made me feel.

The Hating Game looks like a chick lit, but it barely touches the genre, it's a cute, sexy romance with a whole load of quirk.
Like I said, it's really quirky, there's some edible lines in there and it was one of the things I liked most about this book, the writing really stood out and it's intelligently written.
The heroine, gah, she was so cool and weird at the same time. I loved her freak outs, her ballsy-ness, her goddamn cuteness. She made me adore her like someone would their younger sister.
The hero, yes yes yes! Hot, big, brooding, sensitive, shy, secretive, beautiful. All of the boxes ticked.
I loved the whole story, the sexy times, the one upping and the games, the events that took place. If I had to fault it? I'd say that it needed a bit of an edit, sometimes it was a little hard to figure out who was saying what. But i was sooooooooooooo hooked on this read. Adored!
I may have not read this book if I'd known it's content, I bloody hate love-triangles. And this was probably the worst/best I've ever read.
It's clear from the beginning that our heroine, Helena, falls for her best friends boyfriend, with a rippling effect and a long tale of almosts.
I can't stress enough how AWESOME this heroine is. I goddamn loved Helena. She's not only a Harry Potter nerd, but she's inspired by everything, is incredibly neurotic, super funny and totally obsessive. I adored her.
Our hero, Kit, was almost as awesome, he was a beautiful person, but sometimes very stupid. His loyalty often won over his heart, which left me very frustrated with him towards the end.
5 stars because? Our heroine. My angst. My inability to put the book down. Great writing. Funny moments. An unique story. I do wish there was more Kit & Helena time, instead of a whole lot of fleeting moments & goodbyes.

Priest is a filthy forbidden romance about a tormented repenting Priest, who is tempted by a wickedly filthy upperclass stripper.
I loved our Priest, Tyler. He was perfectly emotional, tormented, adorable and funny. Not to mention incredibly fucking hot. The sex scenes really played up to the kinkyness of a secretly dominating Priest, it was the highlight of the book. I also loved how strong and naughty our heroine, Poppy, was. I enjoyed how much she intrigued Tyler.
I would have liked to have seen more of Tyler's seemingly awesome family and Poppy interacting with them.
Expect a filthy read with a lovely touch of humour, a little bit of drama and likeable leads.

“Are you going to devastate me David?” she asked.
“God, I hope not,” I prayed aloud.
Anticipation dissolved the lingering space between us, and I pressed my needy lips to her seeking mouth. And then we melded together, hands clinging, bodies surging, music moaning, dancing in the wreckage. Sweet, sweet devastation.
“Too late...” I thought I heard her whisper.

I loved the addition of Henry and his humour added a whole new level of awesomeness. I loved the sense of togetherness and the incredibly enjoyable scenes painted between David and the other characters.
Yeah, all in all, I loved this book. Highly recommend to everyone, even if you haven't read the first, even if you didn't like the first.

Happiness is for Beginners was a nice change of pace for me. It's not solely based on the romance, I'd say, 50/50; 50% romance, 50% about the heroine finding herself.
Our heroine is a divorced 32 year old first-grade school teacher. After a year of wallowing after the breakdown of her marriage, she decides to kick start her life, grow some balls and go on the scariest hiking experience she can find.
When attempting to drop off her dog at her brothers apartment she bumps into his room-mate, her brothers annoying and immature best friend Jake. Who's ten years younger, loves whales, and as it turns out, is going on the same hiking experience.
Happiness is for Beginners includes sharp banter, adventure and risk, an amazing hero and a lot of personality. It really was an extremely good read.

J A Huss never fails to write an intricate story with unique characters and lots of character depth.
At first, yes I was a bit surprised with our hero in Meet Me in the Dark, his first encounter with the heroine involves him punching her in the face. He's pretty mean and violent towards her for the first half of the book, it made me wonder how on earth they were going to fall in love. Or even if they were.
I enjoyed both the storyline, the characters and the new take on a 'captive romance'. The romance and sex lacked a little for me, but more than made up for it with everything else.
Confess isn't my fave CoHo book, and was pretty much a 4 star read up until the end, which I loved.
I can't say much about the storyline, it's pretty much a slowly unraveling mystery.
I enjoyed both the H&h, both sweet and funny, incredibly cute together. Insta love didn't bother me, but nothing stood out to me to make it an awesome read.
The writing was good, so was the added humour. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of the 'Confession' theme, and I always love the added bit of fate. But I felt there needed to be more to the story. Not because bits were missing, but because it could have explored other things.
Half a star for an awesome end, 4 solid stars for a book I really enjoyed, but didn't love.

King of Hearts was a funny, sexy and sad read.
Really can't expect much less from the wonderful L H Cosway. She knows how to convey emotion and create cool characters. She knows how to write good snappy dialogue, use her brains and she does her research. She made me fall for the characters, their story and entertained me from start to finish.
5 stars for my favourite story in this series so far.
