I think I would have liked it much more, if I hadn't read the first book in the series.
I had expected it to be somewhat different from the previous novel, so I quickly got annoyed with the fact that Dark & Dazzling pretty much followed the same formula as Fierce & Fabulous . The same knight in shining armor, the same beautiful, troubled hot mess of a guy in desperate need of saving.
The only difference for me was that this book was a bit darker and angstier, and it lacked the chemistry and emotional connection that the first one had.

Зато и non-con, и dub-con были. Ну и insta-lust, куда же без нее.

Например, JF Smith, которую ты не дочитала, тоже так штампует. Мы с Дариной эту шаблонность у нее недавно обсуждали: Дарине, наоборот, такое нравится, для нее это comfort read, а меня раздражает.
Я вполне могу перенести нон-кон поначалу между главными героями, но если это с кем-то еще... то, нет, увольте.
Буду следовать анекдоту:
