Reread October 2018

Once Alec gets his head out of his ass these two are a great couple. Alec annoyed me more this time...could have just been my own patience but I wanted to bitch slap him a time or two. He acted like a petulant child. BUT I love these two and I'm sure it will continue to be a favorite read of mine.

Okay, so this is one of those times where I'm screaming to myself, "Why in the hell did you wait so long to read this??" I mean it has everything I love...PNR, fated mates, suspense. My friend Janie read it and told me I'd love it. I snagged it free over a year ago and actually picked it up a couple of times but never made it past the first page. Just goes to show you timing is everything. This time, I was hooked from page one. I've been in a major reading slump lately and this just threw me right out of it. I hear it just keeps getting better.

I loved Cronin. He's all sexy, dominate vampire...yum. He's waited for over a thousand years for his mate. He's so swoon-worthy.

"Please, Alec, don’t ever doubt what you are to me.” Alec’s heart tripped in his chest. “What am I to you?” Cronin’s reply was short and immediate. “Everything.”

Alec grew on me. I was a little irked that he was trying to fight the fate thing. I understand why, but Cronin was just so perfect, I wanted him to be happy. Luckily, Alec didn't resist too long or I might have thrown my iPad and I'm rather partial to it 😂.

"Alec finally, finally, realized what fated meant. He wanted to be everything to Cronin. And he would be. Everything he needed, everything he wanted, Alec was it. As Cronin was to him."

So, on to book 2..can't wait to see more of these two.❤️❤️
