She was a tiny bird that had fallen from the nest, so insanely vulnerable and lost that I wondered if she would ever find her way again.

I started this book completely blind and I’m glad because it helped intensified all the emotions I felt. This book made me incredibly mad and also sad about the life choices the characters made. They were hard to turn away from like a mesmerizingly beautiful but brutal train wreck.



It’s been a while since I read a true page turner and this book, I couldn’t put it down. The story was engaging and erotic just the way I like it. However, I did figure out the ending, but still, it didn't detract from my enjoyment.

The Five is a story of love and survival. It would appeal to readers who could appreciate hard to love characters.
