Lawdy, I love an excellent second-chance romance! And wowza, did I love Jack & Sadie.
Jack and Sadie have known each other their whole lives—loved each other from when they were old enough to realized that’s what their feelings were. And vowed to never stop.
Until life and distance got in the way.
And now Jack is back. But Sadie’s not quite on-board with rekindling their romance. She’s been in love with Jack forever, but she’s not quite sure forever is in their future. But Jack’s determined to show her.
And let the swoons begin.
I loved seeing grown up Sadie and Jack. Loved how hard they loved—and fought—each other. And I loved how their parents tried to stay neutral . . . oh, Blake and Jonah, you did try, I know. LOLOL
Jack & Sadie is a beautiful romance. One that will keep you smiling, swooning, and feeling the love long after you finish. ~ Missy, 5 stars

I have not read the Fighting series, so I had no frame of reference for the history here - but that didn't stop me from falling head-over-heels for Jack Daniels.
Talk about a steadfast, devoted hero. And while I did sometimes feel like i might have benefitted from having the perspective of their history, I loved getting to watch them find their way toward their happily-ever-after in this angstalicious second-chance romance. Don't get me wrong, there were times I wanted to shake some sense into them. Times I just really wanted them to get out of their own way. But ultimately, they gave me this sweet, swoony love story that completely satisfied and the ride was so so worth it.
Also? Ricky.
Scene-stealer extraordinaire and best friend on the planet. I loved the depth and lightness that Ricky added to this story. Some of my favorite scenes were his.
All-in-all? If you're a long time reader of Ms. Salsbury's, you're in for a delightful treat. If this is your first? Don't be afraid to dive in. While I feel like there is maybe an added richness to the story if you have the back-stories, Jack & Sadie still managed to hook my heart and keep me reading hungrily until the very end! ~ Shelly, 4 Stars
