3.5 stars Fun! It took about 20% for me to really get into the book (the narrative voice and humor seemed a little unusual to me at first), but once the story got going it was pretty cute and a very entertaining read. Good for those occasions when you want something a little more lighthearted...but with reapers.

"As everyone knows, the offer of an onion ring is not to be taken lightly. Onion rings are far more valuable than their side dish counterparts--french fries and potato chips--and, as such, have brought about numerous reconciliations throughout history."

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I have an intense love for this book (and Uncle Mort and Driggs and Lex and, really, the whole town of Croak)! Can't wait to read what you think of it, Wen! :)
Can't wait to see what you think of this Wendy :) Started reading this a little while ago, but abruptly stopped. Now it's on my new reading list so will hopefully get to it soon.
It's very cute so far, ladies. :) I don't think I'll be writing an actual review, but I had to see what all the fuss was about!
I just got this one from the library and am looking forward to diving into it. I love the cover! Makes me want to buy it just to have the shiny on my shelves. :-P
It took me a little while to adjust to the book in the beginning, Merin, but after about 20% or so it's gotten really interesting. Will be fun to compare notes!
The cover is so shiny and pretty. The feel of it fits in well with the action once the book gets going with the reaper part.

Oooo. Even though you don't write a review I anxiously await the rating you'll give it. It is already on my Kobo as a "to-read".
I really liked this one, Wendy! I thought the entire thing was just really fun and charming, and I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next one. :)
