A TIME OF COURAGE is officially out now in the UK and US! The seventh and final book in The Banished Lands is here and it is a massive moment for me. I have loved writing about the characters in The Banished Lands and hope you enjoy it. Truth and courage.

The cover to A Time of Courage has been released. I hope you like it!

This is quite a moment for me, seeing the cover art for what is in effect the culmination of seven books and the end of 150 years history of the Banished Lands.

I'm thrilled with how this cover came out, and overjoyed at the level of detail the amazing Paul Young has put into it...
There are numerous elements in this cover that make my inner-geek extremely happy - the long axe with norse runes that spell 'The Final Battle,' the stars on shields - readers of my books will know what that means. Warrior-angels and demons, a certain dapple-grey winged warrior with a seax in each fist, a white bear...

Celestial Absolutely love the cover of this book John! I just ordered the book Wrath, and it will be here by next week so I can finish the Faithful and the Fallen series *cries*.

But my heart is filled with so much joy and anticipation to start this new series ( of blood and bone); also, A Time of Courage comes out around my birthday! Couldn't be better timing. :)

Gavin Wask So I read The Faithful and The Fallen series one after another and when A Time of Dread came out, I made the decision to wait until all the book in the series were available before I started it, because I know I will devour one after the other and Mr Gwynne's stories work so well together as a complete story.
Finally I have all three books on my shelf and I am ready to go. Thank you Mr Gwynne, I cannot wait to delve back into The Banished Lands with the blood & Bone series.

Barbara Hi John, I have all of your Banished Lands books in hardcover, except for Malice. I don't have to have it, it's the story that counts! But I'm curious to see if you know how much Malice in HC is selling for on Abebooks? There are only 3 copies available, going for: $121,85, $615,66 and $641,31... That's a lot!

Hi Barbara, great to hear from you, and it's wonderful to know you've been collecting the series and have enjoyed your time in the Banished Lands.
I have been told that copies of Malice in hardback are hard to get hold of, but I had no idea that copies were selling for that kind of money...you are absolutely right, the is a lot 😁

Yuri I couldn’t get the hardback for this book because of corona, but now I can! Just checked and it’s finally available. Ok I’ve already read the ebook, but the other hardcovers ‘ll get lonely if I don’t get it.

Yannick Me being a nerd question: how fast do Bem Elim fly? Just started a chapter where Riv states they flew a ten night to cover 100 leagues. That's about 550 km in 10 nights flying? Slowest birds ever! These things bug me haha. Love the book! I'll continue reading now I've cleared my mind

Robert Thanks John! Just finished the series. I read Faithful and the Fallen back in 2017 or so. Your books are very much worth the price of admission (I make sure to seek out new copies of your books). Truth and Courage in a world that needs it,
