What I like best about Sprout Social is its ease of use and straightforward implementation process, which make it simple to get started and onboard new team members. The platform offers a wide range of features for publishing, monitoring, and analytics, all within an intuitive interface. The customer support team is responsive and knowledgeable, always ready to help. Its ease of integration with major social networks and other tools makes daily management seamless, and the frequency of use fits perfectly into our regular workflow for scheduling, engagement, and reporting. What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

While Sprout Social is feature-rich and easy to use, some of the advanced analytics and reporting tools can feel a bit limited for the price point. What do you like best about Sprout Social?

What I like best about Sprout Social is how it brings everything together in one place. The Smart Inbox is a game-changer — it helps my team stay on top of incoming messages, mentions, and comments across all platforms without constantly jumping between apps. It makes social engagement feel manageable, even at scale.

I also really appreciate the reporting tools. The analytics are clean, easy to understand, and customizable, which makes it much easier to show performance and ROI to leadership. On top of that, the content calendar and scheduling features make planning campaigns feel organized and strategic, not chaotic.

Sprout is especially strong when it comes to collaboration. We can assign tasks, set approval workflows, and work efficiently across departments, which is a huge plus for our team. What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

While Sprout Social is a powerful platform, the biggest downside for me is the pricing structure. It can get expensive quickly, especially if you're managing multiple profiles or need additional user seats. For smaller teams or organizations with tighter budgets, it may be hard to justify the cost compared to other tools with similar core features.

Another challenge is that some platform limitations still exist — for example, tagging accounts or scheduling certain types of content (like Instagram Reels or LinkedIn mentions) can be hit or miss, depending on the network’s API. Also, I’ve noticed that certain features are only available at higher-tier plans, which can be frustrating if you need something like advanced analytics or social listening but aren’t ready to upgrade.

"Intuitive Platform with Great Support, But Lacks White Label Reporting"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

The easy way you can navigate throughout the platform. Being able to drag and drop content around on month view and premium reporting are my favourite features. Customer support is very good, I like using the live chat if I have issues. Sprout also listen's to your feedback and most things have been brought in when mentioned to our customer reps. What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

"Sprout: Essential Time Saver with Powerful Features and Helpful Support"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout has proven to be a tremendous time saver for us overall.

The Smart Inbox feature stands out — it was easy to implement and seamlessly integrates with all our social profiles and organizes incoming engagement in one convenient location, making it easy to respond and tag as needed. The publishing tool is also very helpful, as scheduling posts across multiple platforms saves us a significant amount of time.

We rely on Sprout daily, which enables us to efficiently respond to users on social media and provide the support they require.

For those who are new to social media management tools, as I once was, there is a bit of a learning curve to mastering all the features. However, the Sprout Help Center is an extremely helpful resource for getting to know the platform’s full capabilities.

The Sprout team are very active in organizing quarterly updates and guest speakers, as well as a social platform dedicated to marketing professionals to be paired up and exchange ideas. What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Overall, I think Sprout is a great tool. There are just a few minor issues that keep me from giving it a perfect 10/10. For example, when publishing Reels, the audio does not sync with Instagram, which would be a very helpful feature. Additionally, TikTok messages, mentions, and tags are not synced — only comments on posts are. Addressing these points would make the experience even better. What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like sprout because it is the most robust social media program I know that is equiped to handle a global brand with multiple accounts. The analytics are perfect for large brands that want to slice and dice the data. It is easy to use and implement. It was one of my most used tools when I managed social media. "User-Friendly and Insightful, But Metrics Can Lag Behind Meta"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like how user friendly sprout social is. Whether someone is a first time user or a veteran, Sprout ensures that the user is walked through the most recent updates, as well as trained to be able to pull any information needed. Sprout is also super helpful in the sense that it puts the plethora of information received into a report based off of the most popular things someone would need to track, and then allows it to be customized based off of what the user needs. My main dislike towards Sprout Social is sometimes the metrics vary from Meta Business Suite. I know it takes a while to update from Meta to Sprout, but when pulling major reports, I have to run through both Meta and sprout to ensure the numbers are the same. What do you like best about Sprout Social?

It's a very comprehensive tool with great support and resources (webinars, articles) etc. Which come together to create a compelling and fully fledged social media platform.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Mainly the cost, it feels exorbitantly expensive vs other platforms, which I understand largely stems from the level of support and size of the company.

But back when there was only a handful of capable social media management softwares, Sprout was a clear frontrunner and incredibly easy to recommend to anyone social media manager or marketing team.

In the present day it's still an incredible tool, but it's better suited to larger brands that can afford it or larger agencies with global clients. Otherwise there are other affordable options that other somewhat competing features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps My Social Media Workflow In Shape"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I’m in Sprout Social all day every day, with multiple brand accounts that I manage on it and what I love most is how organized it keeps everything. The publishing calendar allows me to work multiple weeks ahead and the approval process helps my team remain on the same page so we’re not bouncing messages back and forth all day. What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Every so often the platform seems a little slow when I’m flipping accounts or loading analytics especially during peak hours. And I also wish the analytics were a bit more flexible like, I’d love to be able to roll paid and organic metrics into one view to make reporting even more seamless.
