"UpGuard: Essential for Real-Time Threat Prioritization and Dark Web Monitoring"
What do you like best about UpGuard?

UpGuard’s cybersecurity platform has proven to be an invaluable asset to our organization.

The Threat Insights tool is exceptionally powerful, providing us with real-time detection of misconfigurations and a clear framework for prioritizing remediation. This ensures we focus our resources on the most critical risks instantly.

The data breach detection capabilities are truly best-in-class, delivering instant alerts the moment a corporate username or password is found on the dark web or similar external sources. This proactive monitoring is essential for minimizing exposure and accelerating our breach response.

Beyond its technical excellence, the product is highly intuitive and has been seamlessly incorporated into our daily workflow and security checks. Furthermore, the implementation and integration with our ServiceNow platform were flawless, ensuring real-time threat data is immediately fed into our primary management system. This powerful integration dramatically enhances our response efficiency.

Finally, the customer support is exemplary, characterized by prompt, expert responses that ensure any issue is resolved quickly. UpGuard isn't just a tool; it's a unified platform that delivers clarity, efficiency, and continuous control over our entire cyber risk posture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

I wish UpGuard would provide either the plaintext password or the password hash when reporting a data breach. This would help us determine whether the password is still in use, allowing us to better prioritize which users need to be alerted to reset their passwords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Security Insights, but Support Response Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about UpGuard?

The best feature of Upguard is its ability to monitor dark web activity and it's easy to use. What stands out even more is how Upguard provides real-time visibility into detections across all our externally hosted applications. I especially appreciate that Upguard notifies us whenever a breach occurs and alerts us if our data is involved. This real-time visibility is a valuable asset in an enterprise environment. Also the integration don't require any manual intervention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

We have encountered difficulties troubleshooting certain detections. When our internal team tries to arrange a meeting with the Upguard team, their support is often not available or willing to meet with us, which leads to longer mitigation times. However, the support provided through chat is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A good third party security monitoring tool"
What do you like best about UpGuard?

I like how we can easily import vendors. Customize label and questionnaires. Helpful detailed insights using the websites of the vendor. Also sending notification if there's a breach from the monitored vendor.

Most of my tasks is with Upguard, so I'm using it daily and can see improvement whenever they have an update.

Our account manager, Pete, always catch up with us on a monthly basis. Every questions or query, he and the other support team are responding quickly.

Upguard was able to integrate our new email domain upon request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

What we dislike currently with UpGuard is the limitation to have multiple relationship quiestionnaire. As an organization that have multiple business unit, we thought of an alternative for now to proceed with the implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"UpGuard , A must tool for Vendor risk, Breach risk and Identity exposures"
What do you like best about UpGuard?

Breach risk is a recommendable feature which offers many sections, including Remediations, Risk waivers, Risk profile which makes it easy to manage and address vulnerabilities with ease.

Customer support is very good and responsive very fast.

Identity exposures and data breaches gives a good insight about the security posture .

I use it daily to scan and share the reports to the stakeholders.

It is easy to implement and to be worked upon.

It is easy to integrate but currently we are not using that feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

Everything and every feature about UpGuard is great and useful.

Nothing to dislike, but still it is a bit difficult to track which risk was currently addressed and which new risk is flagged. And I find it difficult to take out the data for a specific time and it's so much time consuming and confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Practical, comprehensive and trusted cybersecurity platform for modern businesses"
What do you like best about UpGuard?

We’ve been using UpGuard for over a year, and it has become an essential part of our cybersecurity and vendor risk management processes. The platform strikes the perfect balance between ease of use and depth of insight — we can quickly assess our own security posture and that of our vendors, track improvements over time, and demonstrate our security maturity to clients with confidence.

The interface is intuitive, reports are well-structured, and the automation around risk questionnaires and continuous monitoring saves a huge amount of time. We’ve also found their support team to be responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us meet our compliance obligations.

UpGuard has helped us streamline our security governance, demonstrate compliance with APRA CPS 234, and improve transparency across our supply chain. I’d highly recommend it to any organisation wanting a practical, well-supported cybersecurity risk management solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

There’s not much to fault, but some of the risk questionnaire templates could be a little more customisable, and occasional false positives appear in the continuous monitoring results. Neither are deal-breakers — they’re minor areas for refinement in an otherwise excellent platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Upguard, an incredibly well done and powerful tool, but not a cheap one."
What do you like best about UpGuard?

The capabilities and easyness of use are outstanding, in my case, it has become one of those tools I could not work without. It saves lots of time and adds lots of value to everything related to supplier management, becoming a necesary tool. Also the custome support and learning resources are amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

My main dislike about upguard are the pricing packages, it is not a cheap tool, but then the cost doesn't escale well. For instance, if your company has 1000 providers, the cost of using upguard will be so ridiculous you would end up not using it. I wish there were some intermidient options, where you could have more suppliers inside the platform at a more affordable price. For instance, if you already have the standard contract of 150 suppliers at 30k, the next jump could be to exentend it to 300 suppliers at 40 or 50k. Or even make custom contracts, where you can have 500 suppliers registered and monitored, but then, only some speacial features with 150 of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dependable and Powerful Security Management Tool"
What do you like best about UpGuard?

UpGuard provides excellent visibility into security posture across vendors and internal systems. Its continuous monitoring, automated risk scoring, and easy-to-understand dashboards make assessing and managing cyber risks simple and efficient. The platform also streamlines compliance workflows, saving significant time for IT and security teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

Some features, such as advanced customization and detailed remediation workflows, could be more flexible. The initial configuration may require guidance, and report exports sometimes need additional formatting for executive presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Comprehensive Solution for Proactive Cyber Risk Management"
What do you like best about UpGuard?

One thing I really like about UpGuard when filling out assessment surveys is how intuitive and time-saving the platform is. It automatically pre-populates many of the standard responses based on previous submissions or available evidence, reducing repetitive work. The interface is clean and well-structured, making it easy to track progress, upload supporting documents, and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Overall, it turns what’s usually a tedious compliance exercise into a smooth, guided process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

uploading evidence or linking to prior responses can occasionally feel repetitive if not perfectly mapped to the survey format. While the platform is generally intuitive, a bit more automation and contextual guidance in these areas would make the experience even smoother Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Standardized Info Exchange, But Needs Better Member Search"
What do you like best about UpGuard?

I appreciate being able to exchange structured, standardized information with my prospects and customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

It can be challenging to search for customer organization names to determine if they are members of the exchange. Frequently, their staff are unaware that UpGuard is even an available option. Being able to confirm their membership in the exchange and inform them that they should use it when working with my organization would be extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"UpGuard Review - No better alternative"
What do you like best about UpGuard?

I love how easy the platform is to use, and how user experience is taken into consideration with the organization of the platform. Easy to use and easy to integrate. Has plenty of features to cover most use cases in third party risk monitoring and domain protection against typosquatters.

I've been using the platform for a few years now and still loving it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpGuard?

I think the only downside would be the 3rd party integration for domain takedown requests if there's a confirmed typosquatter discovered. Once the domain registrar is opened up, it's a manual submission, review, and monitoring process from there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
