The Twisten Sprout is a music-induced plant that serves as Twistee Island's landmark in Mario & Luigi: Brothership.

When Mario and Luigi first arrive on Twistee Island in search of Maykit, they are unable to reach her or the island's lighthouse because the Twisten Sprout has withered up. After receiving the MaxGlam Wax from Spiralia and giving it to Dyode to break him out of his slump, the brothers dance the Brother Groove alongside Dyode and Emmit. The musical notes created by this performance grow the Sprout and turn its leaves into platforms so that the Bros. can reach Maykit and the lighthouse.

Later in the game, after Bowser attacks Shipshape Island, Twistee Island becomes disconnected and drifts in the Gulchrock Sea. Regardless of whether the Bros. visit the island before or after Heatfreeze Island, they will find that the Twisten Sprout has withered again. Mario and Luigi must thus perform the Brother Groove again to revive the Sprout and reach the lighthouse so they can reconnect the island.
