These updates will apply to exams taken with training providers starting 31 July 2021. Exams conducted via Pearson Vue will utilize the revised syllabus from 1 September 2021.
Any legislative amendments occurring between 1 May and 31 October 2021 will be incorporated into the new syllabus version, scheduled for release in January 2022.

This course is taught by an expert NobleProg instructor certified by BCS.
The fee covers the complete course syllabus delivered by an approved BCS trainer, as well as the BCS Foundation Data Protection exam. The exam can be taken remotely at your convenience and is centrally invigilated by BCS. Upon successfully passing the multiple-choice exam (requiring a minimum score of 65%), participants will be awarded the accredited BCS Foundation Certificate in Data Protection.
Requirements
While not strictly required, a foundational understanding of data protection laws, IT fundamentals, and the GDPR will significantly benefit delegates.

1. The BCS test exam questions were often incoherent or not related to the syllabus - which appears to be a trait of BCS course and exams 2. the subject matter was taught reading powerpoint slides full of text - the BCS should be providing at least some diagrammatic content and other visual aids especially as many people learn in very different ways - more than just reading text.
