VAST is a contract between an ad-serving response and a video player. It describes creatives, tracking and additional demand hops, but it does not guarantee successful playback.
VAST response
A response may contain an inline creative or a wrapper that points to another VAST document. Each hop adds dependencies, tracking and potential latency.
- Inline creative
- Wrapper URI
- Media files
- Tracking events
Delivery environments
Web, mobile applications and connected TV devices have different player capabilities and inventory context. Environment policy should be explicit.
Nexus operating model
Nexus connects VAST service endpoints, tenant modules, delivery diagnostics and commercial visibility inside the same control plane.
