Third Judicial Region
Branch _____
Gapan City

PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES,

Plaintiff,
Crim. Case No. __________
-versus-
For: “VIOLATION OF SECTION 5,
ART. II, OF R.A. 9165”
ABC
Accused.
x------------------------------------x

PETITION FOR BAIL

Accused, through counsel, unto this Honorable Court, respectfully alleges
that:

1. The pre-trial of this case is scheduled on July 26, 2013;

2. It is the contention of the accused that the allegations of the
apprehending police officers are mere concoctions and that he was arrested without
any lawful grounds solely on the basis that his name appears on the Drug Watch List
of the Police Officers;
3. In view thereof, the defense strongly believes that the evidence to prove
the guilt of the accused is weak, hence, he invokes his constitutional right to petition
the court to admit him to bail.

WHEREFORE, premised duly considered, it is respectfully prayed of the

Honorable Court that, after due notice and hearing, the accused be admitted to bail.

Gapan City. June 12, 2013.
