TERMINAL PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE (EDT562001)

Application of skills knowledge and attitude in the care of pregnant


mothers, child, individual and family through the utilization of the
nursing process with emphasis on health promotion, and prevention of
disease and other illnesses.

ENABLING OBJECTIVES

 Familiarize the place, equipment, and personnel in the ward.


 Present yourself neatly like a professional.
 Give courtesy to the hospital staffs and patients.
 Identify the patient to be cared and build rapport.
 Develop effective communication with patient and their relatives
concerning the nature and management of clinical conditions and
their outcomes. Present yourself neatly and professionally.
 Use science as basis of reasoning in implementing actions.
 Use nursing theories as reference in performing care to the patient.
 Demonstrate knowledge acquisition by being able to carry out
duties accordingly.
 Plan, organize, and implement high standard nursing services
within the ward.
