Dear Hiring Manager,

It is my pleasure to recommend Monica Longley for a teaching position within your school district.

My name is Julie Dougherty. I am a Center Director for a Bright Horizons Early Childhood Education
Center. This is my third year as a director at this center and my fifth year working for Bright Horizons.
During my time here I have had the pleasure of working with many teachers, and Monica is one that has
always stood out to me.

I first met Monica when I was hired on to be the Assistant Director for Bright Horizons, and Monica was
being hired as a Preschool Teacher. She impressed me during her interview and her time here as a
teacher. She is flexible with scheduling and was always quick to lend a helping hand where ever we
needed her. She is punctual and a great team player as well as a great mentor. She is knowledgeable in
teaching and caring for children. She is professional, and easy to talk to, and the parents loved her.

It is not only these skills that impressed me about Monica, but also her overall persona that really made
an impression on me. She is passionate about teaching and genuinely cares for the wellbeing of her
students. I would recommend Monica in any teaching capacity and within any school. Her skills and her
ability to learn new things is one of a kind and would make any school or classroom a welcoming place
to be.
