activity and what we expect in the actual work place

DAY 1 (march 14, 2023)

Our task is to complete the 80 hours of work

immersion at the Brgy Fatima V over the course of two weeks, working 8 hours every day. Due

to my initial shyness among strangers, I was both eager and apprehensive to do the assignment

we would be given on our first day. The secretary was so sweet to give us the easy one instead of

the difficult one, which I had anticipated. The initial objective is to gather and insert all the

plastic waste we see in the canal next to the elementary school.

DAY 2 (march 15, 2023)

Second day of our work Immersion, the 2nd day of our work immersion is the same to the 1st

day I was excited and nervous to do the another task will give to us. The second task is to take all

the Plastic we see on the canal near the elementary school and put them in sack bag after we

filled the garbage bag we decide back to the brgy and wait for another task.

DAY 3 (march 16, 2023)

The third day, we didn't place any trash; instead,

we simply arranged the bingo cards, which were still confusing due to their sheer number, but we

made every effort to straighten them all out

DAY 4 (march 17, 2023)

Day four of our work immersion saw us

repeat the first day's actions, clean the road once again, dispose of all the waste in the trash can,

and greet our supervisor in a cheerful manner. DAY 5 We repeated the same task from day 3

Day 5 (march 18, 2023)

arranging the bingo cards one by one so that they would be correctly organized.

DAY 6 (march 19, 2023)

Day six of our work immersion saw us

repeat the first day's actions, clean the road once again, dispose of all the waste in the trash can,

and greet our supervisor in a cheerful manner.

DAY 7 (march 20, 2023)

In the 7 day we clean the street again we did the same thing in the past day/

DAY 8 (21, 2023)

This day, we finished arranging the bingo

cards after numbering the balls on them on day eight. Our supervisor told us we could leave early

when we were done. DAY 9 We repeated the first day's actions on day nine of our work

immersion, cleaned the road once more, emptied the garbage can of all the waste, and greeted

our supervisor with a smile.

DAY 10 (march 22, 2023)

Day Ten saw us cleaning the street once more, and because this was the last day of my work

immersion, my supervisor and brgy captain instructed us to clean the court and place all of the
rubbish in the trash can. Following our conversation with our supervisor and brgy captain, I

thanked them for everything.

CAREER ORIENTATION

March 30 when our school conducted a career orientation, five different school went to promote
and offer a good quality education. The Orientation last until three o'clock in the afternoon.

POST IMMERSION

March 31 when our school gives credits to the different organization where the students got
deployed, also it is the time when some of the student shared their different experiences on work
immersion program. Some of organization don't have a time to join in the said school activity,
there for, they choose some student to represent their school or barangay even their company.

SEXUAL AWARENESS
Our school conducted a seminar for JPI students about Domestic sexual awareness on the 17th
day of April 2023. The seminar tackles about different harassment or physical abuse, also they
discussed the law and cases related in different sexual harassment and how can avoid it.

OBSERVATION AND INSIGHT

In ten days of work immersion i realized that working at barangay is such a great opportunity

that everyone should take, from working experiences and having a good connections with the

barangay staffs. They don’t hesitate to share the experience about their work and give us a pieces

of advice. We share laugh and cracking jokes when its free time. I enjoyed the work and also the

companionship with them.

In addition, the staff of every Department are diligent and they put so much effort for

completing the task given to them. Also the facilities are highly computerized. Most of the files

and other information are controlled by the computer, it makes work easier than ever and the

strategies that they have are very organized and systematic.

OVERALL REFLECTION AND SELF APPRAISAL

“Experience is the most powerful teacher in life” This quote keep reminding me that I should be

very grateful because I learned a lot of things once in my life through my own experiences. But

at first hearing the word "Work immersion" gave me so much fear, because im not familiar in

any kind of work related in technology, and I need a lot of courage just to succeed in that kind of

field. But as the day goes by I realized that having a work immersion was unforgettable

experience and it is really good opportunity to experience how does it feel to be in actual work

place. For an instance, I am very blessed to have my work immersion in brgy. Fatima V. even at

first I was really nervous to communicate with other people, because I’m a shy person at first

when it comes with the people whom I’m not comfortable with. I thought that the staff there was

indignant and strict but I was wrong, they are so approachable, kind, and communicative, they

are ready to talk with and share the knowledge they have about working. In overall, my

experience in work immersion was a pleasure and fun at the same time. I can't say that it is

somewhat boring because even most of my time was wasted after I’ve done my task, my co-

interns are so fun to be with and that's also give me the courage to continue and do my best..
