ON SATURDAY , 29th APRIL 2023 AT THE DIPLOMAT HOTEL-NAIROBI

The meeting started at 8.30pm. With a word of prayer form the Treasurer, Jane
Mmbaitha. After a word of prayer , the Chairman took over the leadership of the
meeting.
Min. 01/Aug06: Name & Registration
The members resolved that the name of the Group the DIPLOMAT SELFT HELP
GROUP and Idi Otieno will coordinate the registration process with the Department of
Culture and Social Services. All members signed the membership List for the purpose of
the Application for Registration.

Min. 02/Aug06: Election of office bearers

The office bearers were elected as follows:


1 Joseph Oduor O. Chairman
2. Idi Otieno: Secretary
3. Jane Mmbaitha: Treasurer
4. Vincent Alugusa Assistant Treasurer

5. Racheal Agot Oduor Executive Member

Min. 03/Aug06: Membership fee and Monthly subscriptions

It was passed that the membership registration will be Kshs 500 and payment of Kshs
800 Minimum monthly Savings contribution. However, a member can save as much as
he wished to boost his/her Shares within the Group.

Min. 04/Aug06: Opening of Bank Account for the Group

It was agreed that the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer open, on behalf of the group, a
savings account with Caritas Bank. It was also agreed that all the four be signatories, but
any of the three will be required for withdrawal. All savings to the group account would
be done by the members himself or herself, as the statements from the bank reflects the
Names and Telephone numbers of the Saving member, No member would save on
behalf of another member.

Min. 05/Aug06: The Group Constitution

Elected officials Drafted the Constitution, whci was amemnded by the Members and a
final copy approved to be used to run the Group operations.

Min. 06/Aug06: Activities

Members were encouraged to come continue doing their respective business and save
more to enable us have a common Investments in future . Members also agreed to start
Loaning scheme form a committed revolving fund of Kshs. 50,000/= set a side for the
purpose of Loaning and Interests. The interest agreed is 10% of the Loan amount. The
current Loan period in 3 months. A member applying for the loans would be guaranteed
by his/her shares to ¾ level and the be guaranteed by another member or more
members. The Full loan amount MUST be fully Guaranteed.

Closure

There being no other business, the meeting ended at 8.00 p.m. The date of the next
meeting would be communicated later.
